noels best quote when talking about peter greens fleetwood mac ..." you had to be a serious musician to get into that band , all you need is the right haircut to get into oasis "
I’ve heard a couple of Interviewers say that Noel and Liam are 2 of the only Celebrities that don’t supply a list of questions they can’t ask. They’re to the point but more importantly honest.
You're joking right.... Remember him saying how if people didn't like his music..tough he's the one drinking champagne......kinda forgot his root...fucking fake..oasis poor man's stone roses.
Noel is always entertaining in these type of interviews. Considering some of the challenges he faced growing up, one must admit he is well accomplished.
I absolutely love how he has no ego when it comes to Robert DeNiro and Jerry Seinfeld and readily admits that they had no clue who he was the entire time they were together.
People say he is so arrogant. I think he’s almost always jokingly so. Like when is telling the story of Michael Jackson acting on stage like he is Jesus: „who does he think he is? Me?“
Even though I don’t agree with everything he says...I really like him. Speaks his mind which is rare! He knows the craic which to me makes him relatable.
@@larjkok1184, Where did you meet him and get to know him? Cock head? Where did you get the inspiration for such a remarkable statement? You must be absolutely fucking fascinating!
Russel Brand: there is going to be revolution Noel: give us a shout mate when you're going down the mall with your pitch fork and I'll come and serenade you in on my lute before we go and eat the queen
Noel: The type of bloke that you could have a few pints down the pub and let him talk about whatever he wants, for as long as he wants. Pure entertainment.
@@larrystreak1044 from a true Seinfled fans perspective... its the whole situation in the elevator that makes it. Him having a back and fourth with his wife crammed in a small lift infront of Noel and his missis. Its not like he met him in the street said hello and walked off or at some fuckin meet and greet. U pleb
Hes not as good as he thinks he is. He likes to joke of his level of greatness but he actually means it. He thinks hes this generation beatles. And that in itself is absolutely laughable
@Sionnaigh Thanks for reminding me of her name. Maggie is an impressive lady. Very smart gal. I liked while the band were in California on tour and Noel went missing a few day's. It was Maggie who looked into Noel's phone call history and remembered a flirtatious encounter Noel had with a young lady friend and sure enough, she was able to locate Noel and get him back on track to continue their tour in the U.S.
The Kate Moss/Naomi Campbell story is fantastic. So fantastic that I went off to find some footage. It took me 5 searches to realize the show isn't called "Go-go Box".
This guy wrote three good albums all by himself the first two and that b sides one and the rest of the band might of helped but he didn’t need them him and a guitar is just right and I’m no big oasis fan but them 3 were good very talented man.
DEF MAYBE MORNING GLORY THE MASTER PLAN WHERE THE BST ALBUMS THO THERE WAS SOME SDECENT SONGS ON THE LATER ALBUMS THERE 3 I SAID BRILL OTHER AVERAGE THO THEY ALL WENT TO NUMBER
He’s right for never forgiving Liam for leaving mid show all the time or just not showing up to gigs. That’s cost them an ungodly amount of money and is why Liam isn’t doing well financially. The record companies, especially in the US, do not put up with that crap at all and will boot you from the label then sue you. If you do that to a concert venue they’ll 100% sue you for lost revenue & harm to their name/reputation. After Liam did that 2 or 3 times they were done being headliners in the US. There are many cases of the record companies forcing major bands to fire someone in their band for doing crap like that. Amazingly crazy guys like Keith Moon never did it.
I am one of the millions who love Noel, I think he is great. Am lucky enough to of met him twice. And had a one to one, and he was nice to speak to. Spent the time to talk to me, I will always remember that...
I totally get what he was saying about Liam walking off stage and never coming back... that would be infuriating. A couple years back, I saw Liam perform in Toronto and, about halfway through, he got pissed at the sound technicians and left. We kept waiting for him to come back, but unfortunately he never did. Too bad he hasn’t matured in his old age.
That's cuz they always turned mix down so he had to sing so loud. That's party of v what effed his voice up. Then he looks like the ass who walked off but it's them ... It was Noel wanting to sing in the early yrs and in the end Noel wanted to blame him for the split to have a successful solo thing. It's called reactive abuse. Narcissists do it to a target to make themselves look good and the target look like a bafoon.
@@youtubingbabs Well, in my particular case, he got all the way to the end of the show before angrily storming off stage. So, whatever pissed him off, didn’t come until then. All he had to do was perform a song or two as an encore, but he refused.
why? GM always hid who he was while he was in WHAM! cos it was easier commercially to be straight in the 80s - I'm not having a dig at him for that but it was kinda out there to be gay and not the normal life it is now, people were not as relaxed about it, I mean Elton John married a woman in the 80s ffs!!
Saw Noel and his band in Seattle back in 2012 or so. Noel opened it up for requests and this guy shouts, "can you do wonderwall?" Liam replied, "of course I can, I fucking wrote it. Next!"
DEFO NOT HE WOULD ROB OTHER COMEDIANS GAGS OR GET PETTER KAY TO WRITE HE CANT A SONG THAT DONT SOUND LIKE THE BEATLES OR EVEN A OASIS SONG WHICH HE HAS DONE HE HAS A SENCE OF HUMOUR AS HE IS FROM THE NORTHWEST YEAH HE IS FUNNY BUT TO DO 1 30 2HR STAND UP I DOUBT HE LAST
I laughed so hard at 14.24 I had an asthma attack. He tells these things so honestly, and so matter of factly, that its hard NOT to imagine how it must have felt..
He is a musician... Probably comes with having perfect pitch. Every bend in his melody is on purpose. Liam too. Liam could do madrigals or arias or sing folk or metal.... That'd be a cool show where singers cross genres!
Was at a gig at the Barrowlands in Glasgow Nov 94 , Liam walked off after 3 songs . Noel took over singing duties for the remainder. At the end of the gig , you were told keep your ticket stub and you will be allowed free entry into another gig . Subsequently they then played just over a month later at the same venue . With entry by stub or a tenner . Great band for around 3/4 years . All went south after Be Here Now. The music scene/ industry badly need Oasis to reform and take us back to those early days and away from the manufactured shite on offer currently . Must be the Lim/Noel/Bonehead//Guigsy/Alan line up though
