I haven't listened to this in a while. Every time I hear the Arabic part I just cry. I just cried again after all these years. It's so beautifully sung here.
The Arabic part is a song called (How have you been? ) by the singer fairouz she sang this song about her son who had left the country to marry his lover, but he didn't inform his family when he would come after a few years he came back and he met his mother so she asked him( how have you been? I heard you became a father, I thought that you are still abroad) so her son wrote this song about his conversation with his mom. He gave her the song but she took 4 years to decide whether she will sing it or not
there is only one Arabic language and the others like Lebanese Which I find mesmerising and Egyptian and Tunisian and Moroccan etc these are dialects not languages.

I had the Google the lyrics to know the meaning of the Arabic part, but true beauty can be perceived without knowing the meaning of the words - it crosses language barriers - and it gave me chills before I had any idea what you were singing

This is so beautiful can some write down the Arabic part in like English words if that makes sense like for example 'whal ka shifta' and translate what it actually means in English. I would love to sing this in my school and I have been interested in learning Arabic and everything behind it.
