This entire time I didn't even know I had a hidden cup holder compartment! This information is was helpful in learning more about mine. Hope to see more Prado videos as you work on yours.
i bought mine from a bloke with some other spare parts second hand, he had a wreck with one in it. i just searched "center console lid" and selected my car to help find some on ebay
Im a pretty tall dude, and i find the extension puts the arm rest under the centre as i drive at a very comfy height Up to personal preferences, tho YMMV
