It's my pleasure! I'll keep at it as long as the stars stay lined up (DRM, forbearance of TCM and other stakeholders, etc.).

Are you able to use cable alternatives, such as RU-vid TV? Hulu Live? Either of those carries TCM. All you need is internet bandwidth.

@@NoirFan77 I don't know what internet bandwidth is but I'm probably moving soon and the cable provider their carries tcm for free.

@@randquadrozzi5850 By internet bandwidth I mean good enough internet speed and capacity to handle viewing videos on RU-vid TV or Hulu TV. You most likely do have it. You don't need cable at all, just internet. But getting TCM for free (?) is unbeatable. Good luck!

Your analysis, sir, is spot on. The reviews at the time didn't get it.

"Walk On The Wild Side" is a movie Barbra Stanwyck made with a young Jane Fonda, Capucine, and Laurence Harvey in 1962. She played a madame at a New Orleans brothel who induces both women into the sex trade. Eddie's pointed use of the phrase could be nothing other than a deliberate reference.

The Saul Bass title sequence is fabulous, backed up perfectly with music by Elmer Bernstein.
