Yes, I figured that, but anyway, I thought I should voice my happiness and thanx to you for uploading them. 40, 50 years ago an intro was MANDATORY on TV, But ya know, paying a host is "too expensive", haha, so I do miss quality intros on TV and hardly watch TV anymore anyway.
@@wmjahn Yep, I get it. BTW you might want to check out the Criterion Channel as well as TCM. Offers lots of extras, including commentaries, intros etc. for some titles. I miss FilmStruck but Criterion is making up for some of the slack.
Oh, thanx so much for the hints, I will!! I am always happy to explore new channels. Just ended watching DRIVE A CROOKED ROAD (and the outro) and as always it was a pleasure to view a noir recommended by Eddie Muller. :-))
@@wmjahn 'Drive A Crooked Road is good, no doubt. And Eddie always makes it better. Even better IMHO is another Rooney noir 'Quicksand (1950)'. And if you're really into Rooney after that, check out the original Twilight Zone episode named 'The Last Night of a Jockey', Episode 5 of Season 5 original air date Oct 25, 1963. Written especially for Rooney by Rod Serling. Really excellent, Mickey does a great job. Oh, and one more you can't miss: Requiem for a Heavyweight (1962) with Anthony Quinn, Jackie Gleason and of course Mickey. Also written by Rod Serling. Arrggh! I can't stop thinking of Mickey. Just remembered another must see: 'The Comedian', originally aired for Playhouse 90 on Feb 14, 1957. Really first rate! Just look at the credits: Rod Serling wrote it with Ernest Lehman, directed by John Frankenheimer and starring The Mick! I have it from a box set of Playhouse 90 episodes and didn't think it was readily viewable elsewhere, but a quick search on RU-vid finds numerous hits.
