I remember seeing Bladerunner at a friends house on lazerdisc when I was wee lad back in the day. They had a serious home theater setup for the time including a huge projection screen. The film was unlike anything out there. Ridley Scott is a visionary. Or maybe people who love his films are making his ideas reality? The feelings that Noir Deco can make one feel through sound is like Scotts visual story telling. Love em both.
+Cyberpunk 2077 I agree, it's an amazing movie and production. He was a visionary, although, many directors tend to get (steal) their ideas from illustration artist specialized on futuristic landscapes. They rarely get the true credit deserved, even if their names are mentioned at the end of movies.
Maybe they don´t do cyberpunk movies anymore, because we are at the begining of the real cyberpunk, I mean "High Tech (Smartphones, Operating Systems, Network access everywhere, Advanced Robotic Prosthetics), but Low Life (Drugs, Terrorism, Poverty, Prostitution) ".
Hey, the works of Noir Deco are very interesting and unusal. It seems that these tunes carry patterns from the 80s and early 90s musics (for exp. Modern Talking or the soundtracks of Twin Peaks) along with some very different periodic and long synth layers. It's very amazing and impressive.
so wonderful and perfect. I listen to it over and over. It makes me feel free while watching and photographing the universe and galaxies with my telescope and listen to it in the background :)
I've... seen things you people wouldn't believe... Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched c-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhäuser Gate. All those... moments... will be lost in time, like tears... in the... rain. Time...to die...
N0IRDEC0, you are amazing; you should be signed to Rosso Corsa Records. :) Hopefully in the near future I will be technically savvy enough with my, uh, GPC to make music like you, MN84, MM, and Lazerhawk.
I really don't want to sound disrespectful but this song combined with the video is the best thing you have done. you have something here....don't waste it! I could listen to this on loop and NEVER get bored!
Rewatch the Director's Cut, I find that the plot was actually a lot deeper than people see but the original rendition was unsatisfactory and ruined any sort of guess work.
Woot I had this on my mp3 Player but now that I listened to it on youtube I was able to see the clip! Great Clip to this awesome track! Love me some Bladerunner
Hollywood died a slow death due to identity politics. The American Dream died a slow death due to identity politics. The 80s showed us a dystopian future of utopian thinking for the hopefulls. Unfortunately today it turns out that George Orwell was right when he wrote '84, and so was Fahrenheit 451, and so the Brave New World. And, we are here.
