Music has been weaponized against us. Mainstream music is the worst. Have you seen these famous music artists in pictures covering one eye? They are in a “special club”. Their music might present itself as harmless but the beats, frequencies and lyrics stimulate the left side of the brain which is represented as the seat of the ego. It shuts off the right side of the brain which is your intuition, imagination and connection to the divine. People unknowingly blast this music in their ears thinking it’s totally fine, oblivious to the damage that’s being done to the soul.
@absinthephrenz

Well, that makes sense. I always wondered what the 1 eye thing was about, plus most new "music" sounds dire. Thanks to you and thanks Mr. Wilhem for enlightening me about this.

It’s loud people who never shut up that raises my blood pressure and causes tension and mood swings. I’ve been an observer all of my life and I never feel the need to ramble on about my opinion on anything. I understand that many people yearn for human contact. I just need a lot less. lol.

Same here. But I grew up in a large negative family full of arguing and constant fighting. It wasn't exactly a good way to focus on school. After I spent many years with roommates after the navy(more people crammed on a ship) with roommates just to pay bills and make ends meet. Finally in my late 30s I have discovered the wonderful peace and beauty of solitude and quiet.

Moving to a quiet environment was the best choice in my life. It's funny how you only realise the level of emotional damage and stress it causes once you are away, but when you are in the middle of noise, it consumes you and lowers your vibration to the point where you think it's just normal....the sounds of nature are LOVE ❤❤❤❤

sometimes, I try to imagine the loud cars that rumble all day and night outside my flat window, as a great ocean moving. After some meditation practice and sitting with the noises, it gets a little easier day by day, until yesterday I was totally peacefully with absolute chaos around. So next challenge would be if one can do this in busy city or market place too perhaps.

Every emotion has its own frequency/vibration. Hollywood plays on this very successfully. When they want to make a scene scary, inspire dread, make you feel love, etc., they bring in a certain music/sound/vibration/noise to bring out that emotion. Something to keep in mind next time we feel like we are being manipulated and can't quite put our finger on the reason why.

I get absolutely ENRAGED when I hear loud-ass motorcycle 🏍️/ loud car 🏎️ engines & exhaust pipes or when a rocket 🚀 launches! The sound is SO dissonant 😖 that I can feel it driving the cells in my body crazy. I imagine my cells are doing the same thing that 1 Asian doctor discovered in his study on the effects of loving words vs. hateful words spoken to water 💦 & how the hateful words cause the water to form assymetrical crystalline shapes when viewed under a microscope 🔬, OR form the most complex, symmetrically pleasing to the eye forms when loving words are spoken to it. Cacaphonous sounds are like someone dragging their nails down a chalkboard 👨🏾‍🏫to me. I always wondered how people could live their whole lives (shoot --- even a 4th of their life) in a place like New York City 🏙️. I visited there for 3 days back in 2006 & I COULDN'T WAIT 2 get back home 🏡 in the country! It was cacaphony 24/7! And I've heard many people who live in those environments say they LOVE IT! I don't get what's to love 🤷🏾‍♂️😑.

I often listen to SBS Chill, or ABC Classical, in Australia. Sometimes, even these radio stations play discordant or else numbing music, at which times I simply change the station or turn it off. I am retired now and can more easily avoid street noise, by simply staying home. (I was living in as street once where the noise from various neighbours there was dreadful and I suffered terribly for years.) I no longer live there and it is quieter where I am now. They are putting up a new house across the road soon, but the noise shouldn't last forever. Yes, ugly noises are a real disturbance to the soul. Thanks for addressing this distressing, but often overlooked subject, Hans. ☺💛

Loud noise really affect me. I can physically feel it and makes me feel stress. Its condition called misophonia. I rather listen to nature sounds like bird songs, rain or wind blowing through the trees. Excessive background noise affects all aspects of every day life. Ideally, I would like move somewhere quieter away from other people's loud awful music. Times, I can't avoid noise, I listen to lofi, some video games ost like rpgs have great songs to whisk you on some adventure. There are intensive battle music which causes negative reaction makes me want to kill monsters. I don't understand how some people can listen to screaming death metal as not really music at all. Sometimes, I listen to metal. Reading some of comments, I didn't realise it can affect me. The video gave me insights how noise is damaging not only mentally but spiritually as well.

Nature is great, and has great sounds that can be inspiring, but a really nice drum set with really cool sounding cymbals and a bass guitar coming through a great sounding speaker system can also be uplifting and inspiring as well. I play both, and recently delved into the audiophile world by getting my first decent speakers and subwoofers, and it can bring me as much joy and bliss as playing my own instruments. More, really. It’s pretty easy to be one with great sounding music that has nice drums, cymbals and bass guitar, as it is to be out in the oneness of the natural universe.

I think this could be applied with many other presentations Mr. Wilhem presented earlier such as thought clouds and guarding your energy, aside from environmental factors like a work site or husstle and bustle of an environment and institutions I've noticed nefarious individuals or groups weaponizing noise deliberatly to assault the senses of others including my own with legal loopholes, lets not forget if people have preexisting injuries or disease, I don't wish ill on culprits per se, but I'm sure when some recipients pick on it, it's enough to conclude the perpatraitor is sowing negative karma on their own soul probably fast tracking themselves into a declining form and soul. I've noticed an escalation of nefarious intent increasing with sensory assaults since covid began, thanks Mr. Wilhelm, though it won't stop evil people from weaponizing air vibrations or other material elements at least you validated an assumption I've had for some time, but I can't live in a bubble of fear or uncertainty, self defense/retaliation is within my free will.

Some comment as to how they enjoy loud music, rock etc. However to me these are not counter examples to the idea out forward here which is implied in the title i.e. it is noise *pollution* which is the issue. One's enjoyment of quietness or classical music does not impinge on the tranquility of one's neighbour but the neighbour's enjoyment of heavy metal generally requires medium to high volume to get the effect and this does become noise pollution to neighbours who unlike the enjoyer have no control over when the noise starts and stops. These days the technology which allows one to create noise also has created blue tooth headphones that allow one to listen to such music yet not intrude on one's neighbour's amenity.

Sometimes when I try to ignore their voices and keep working I get major headache. Earplugs dont work. Their sound systems are very loud people in 10 km can hear them clearly. They play Quran recitation for 30 minutes before Adhan. Then they continue to use the loudspeakers for Salat until Dhikr. It takes 1 hour they use loudspeaker for one prayer which there are 5 prayers for a day... every day! We can't do anything because our government enables them. Since I was a kid always been sensitive to noise. All the other kids liked firecrackers. I avoided them like the plague. I wear ear plugs to combat city noises and other harsh noises. In the future there will be places will pay to be enveloped in silence.

That is why when you hold a very jigh frequency, the matrix starts sending you noisy harrasments like leafblowerd, mownlawers, hekicopters, sirenes and motorcyclists pushing their gas.

I go to a lot of very loud heavy metal concerts, and these are always a very positive experience, and even spiritual. So, I don't really agree entirely with the video. However, other types of loud noises, which do not resonate with me, are very disturbing. So, I could see how some loud noises have a negative effect.

yea i agree with this-i think blanket assuming classical music is the best is for a persons soul i think doesnt take into account the beauty of a well arranged and performed ozzy osbourne song, the brooding darkness of massive attack, the intricate and simultaneously simple chords of a radiohead-there are moments where you can tell the composers of this music reached deep down inside to access the beauty of the darkness… to deny these aspects is to deny that the dark and light are not integral parts of being accepting of all facets and natures of life. I find that a slippery slope. I will engulf myself loudly in a beautiful piece of music and i find it tunes my soul and body to help me, us cope with everyday aggressions… Noises though, whatever they may be which impinge on people’s peace and energy space, well thats probably more what this is about.

What if it’s really loud but harmonious? Like your at a concert or show and it’s really high decibels but it’s really high vibe spiritual music playing?

Drummer here. If it’s really loud, and you are subjected to it on a pretty regular basis, it can cause tinnitus. I’ve dealt with it since the 1980s, and it’s constant, from waking up to going to sleep. I have had to learn to deal with it, but every time I try to get into a quiet, peaceful state, the sound- ear ringing at a very high frequency- makes it’s immediate presence to my mind and soul.

I disagree. I'm a musician, and I play and listen to all kinds of music. From the totally peaceful to the most extreme. And it's all about timing. If you don't want to hear it it's noise, and your body lets you know. On the other hand, loud sounds and beats can be very uplifting, and even soothing if you like what you hear. Loud sounds that are often part of our everyday life can be harmful, yes. Even if we get used to them and don't notice them, it's still noise

I remember you making a video about war and how it's just purification, which is ironic because the Israeli soldier that killed my aunt Huda Hawarjeh was killed in Aida Bethlehem and the Israeli soldier responsible smiled on camera and said he was purifying the land. I look forward to the day where people like you stop justifying this horror as 'purifying'. I have uploaded the CBC interview that has the soldiers statement to my youtube channel for the world to see.
