I am doing my grade 4 exam very soon, but I am nervous because the last time I did an exam (which was grade 2), the examiner wasn't very friendly and didn't smile once 😕 So I do not want another experience like that again. Have you got and tips on how to control exam nerves and different improvisations for the develop parts? 😳
an examiner will always not show emotion that’s the whole point. They don’t want you to think you did well nor do they want you to think you did bad. They’re not there to be your friend but to examine you
I'm 14 and I've been playing for almost a year now. I can play all the grade 4 pieces, but my exam isn't for ages, so I'm learning a few grade 5 pieces (I can only play one fluently rn)
Hi buddy! Sorry I don't always get a chance to check this. Just make sure you're confident with your pieces. Also try to commit some of the technical exercises to memory. Especially the fills! :) Add my new channel XYZ MUSIC ACADEMY for all new Rockschool videos that I have filmed for my students. Cheers
yeaaaaa practise ur fav song then make kaiser roll 115 bpm and practise sight reading, technical exerscises and the fills on there then ur good to go to ur exam
@@randypoh ace of spades was more metal back in its day, I used this song for my grade 4 exam. Finally stopped playing after getting my level 4 diploma
