this is sick. not sure if this would work but to make the player not float around the bike would be to make the player invisible and include it in the actual bike sprite thing.
Oh I see what you mean. the issue is that it would make the bike controls work a little differently cause it would add to the weight and such and yeah basically wouldn't work just as well
Two things: 1, I wish the music cut off abruptly with the game over sound effect. 2, I really want to see tracks made with this, With such interesting effects as "While going around a loop de loop, The wooden ramp you just passed explodes from a crate, Giving you a hole to jump through" Because that sounds so cool and insane
You should add an optional setting which makes you die instantly if you hit your head like in Hill Climb Racing. That would be hilariously brutal. Imagine trying to navigate the caverns of Noita not only limited by being on a bike, but also under the threat of dying by hitting your head due to poor riding skills. That would be a fun challenge ripe for amusing fails.
Imagine playing this with 4 person multiplayer You race across the lands Picking up random wands on your way and using them to hinder/kill your friends It could be insanely fun
Now make it so you can equip different bike parts in different orders to craft crazy bikes, pedal pedal pedal gear wheel? Lots of speed with a tiny unicycle.
