Noki Bay - Super Mario Sunshine Music Extended 

Hard to believe it's been 20 years since this game's release

went to an aquarium as a kid and this was the only thing playing in my head the entire time.

Many of my childhood memories are muddling away with time, and becoming false memories.. but my memory of playing in this area every day after school while eating luncheables and not knowing how to progress, but not caring because this place was like a safe haven, is a real memory i will never forget 😢

Shoutout to that one Bob-Omb who always pushes you off the cliff during the mole's defeat cutscene.

This song is weird I have had many recurring dreams since 2002 when I played this game where I'm in an extremely tropical place similar to noki bay. A cut out circular crop of ocean surrounding by tall cliffs neon blue ocean water small islands and boats with houses dotted on the hills and cliffs. The people from my life were just floating around in the water basking up the sun I remember hearing water fall on the clear blue water and trying to paddle around the ocean in a small boat there were little rock islands were other people I know would egg me on to keep paddling the sun was always so blinding I couldn't look up but the water was so clear I could only look down and through the water were so many dazzling fishes of all color and shapes i could smell the salt in the air but there was always a sweet smell along with salt like a girl You've never seen but want to meet was just a few feet away. I'd keep paddling from one small rocky island to the next some had palm trees some had huts like master roshis home. It's one of the most peaceful recurring dreams I have had. Most of my recurring dreams are more abstract and scary or stressful but every time I have had this dream I wake up ready for the day with a smile on my face. I think the music paints half the picture and is one of the reasons my dreams of this noki bay type place is because of the music.

My parents bought the GameCube and this game for Christmas when I was a kid. My very first video game and loved every second playing it. Played the game few months ago and the memories of playing it as a kid came back. This game will never get old, and love the soundtrack

This tune is very unique. Probably my favorite out of the whole game. It gives me the feeling of confidence but with a little bit of danger in the adventure.

Noki Bay, Ricco Harbor, and Pina Park were my favorite worlds in this game.

Ugh this was one of my favorite areas in the game I remember being a kid and discovering that little hidden area with the shine sprite bird and just letting Mario fall asleep while I listened to the music

This is my favorite game, for me personally it’s not even close to any other games on any other consoles I’ve tried, this is my fave song from the game. I’ll never forget staying up late to play this level and listen to this music late at night even tho I had an exam or class early in the morning

I used to mess about in this level so much

the sound of discovering a hidden waterfall or secret area you never knew existed. this particular soundtrack was always so magical to me

Pure childhood joy in audio form: Booting up my gamecube on a summer afternoon was always so fun with this game!

Just recently finished Sunshine on switch since there was no other way for me to play this visually stunning game. Just have to get some blue coins and I'll complete the game
