when you said that this phone is good ,my father directly bought this phone and make my unboxing of it .i was also surprise with ists batter life ..thanks for all the info you gave me :)
This is my late granny's phone. She bought it on May 2012. She passed away on 27th of December 2019 but her phone is still active and I never delete her favorite songs in her micro SD card that she inserted on this phone. She always listening her favorite songs using this phone when she was alive. Now my grandpa is now using this phone since his Nokia Asha 202 is having a loudspeaker problem.
Its pretty good, we gave it to one of our relatives and she appreciates the battery life and the dual SIM functionality. Not a bad phone for the price and Nokia makes some of the most durable entry-level phones in the market so you can't go wrong there. Hope that helps man!
Both SIMs are active, but most dual-SIM dual-Standby phones don't allow simultaneous calling with both SIMs since it can get confusing and the phone only has one speaker and one microphone. You can text two people at the same time using two SIMs though.
Yeah actually its a pretty good phone if you want something with basic features but is a reliable phone. Hopefully you won't miss the Arc S though, haha. Let me know what features you're specifically looking for and maybe we can suggest some other phones. =)
If you're in a call from SIM A and get a call from SIM B, you get a call sound and shows the number from SIM B. Press the answer button and you switch to the call at SIM B. I believe the SIM A call gets put on hold. Hope that helps!
Haven't had a chance to personally check out an Asha 306 yet, but we currently have a 303 here right now that we're scheduled to unbox and review. I think the 306 is an S40 phone in the same vein. From our experience the S40 / Asha range is pretty decent and the battery lasts a few days to a week depending on your use. If you need a little bit more flexibility with your phone. (eg. e-mail, web browser, few games) then the Ashas are decent choices. =)
We're kind of a fan of the N series too - we have a N82 right now but the battery has already gotten bloated after a few years of use. The 101 can definitely do the trick for you. There's a few extra options in the S40 line like the 202 or the 303, etc. But if you don't need those new touchscreen features then definitely the 1xx range might be the best. =)
Nice Video Sir....Wht you suggest should one buy this or not??? do you know similar mobile phones from different companies in this range...??? Please Reply///!!!!!
We haven't been able to check the maximum amount of messages it can take, but we imagine its like a typical Nokia phone which can hold up to about 2-3 thousand messages in the memory. Hope that helps!
hello technoclast, is this phone good for a teen like me? it is because I am planning to sell my arc s to get a basic phone since I prefer this kind of low-end phones.
nice review dude! and I like this phone a lot than my touch screen one, I cant get a rush on it on sending sms, and it makes less of a target though, from snaaaaatchers LOLs
Hi. i have a problem. i dont no what one of the small icons means. if i go in to the phonebook. there is a small palm icon next to one of the names. what does it means ? best regards jacob
dude, I can't enable my phone security/ keyguard code , it always say "code error" yet I'm pretty sure I didn't put any password from the day of purchase, I tried to look for it on the manual and on the box, still no clues :( HELP!
@666loserboy Normally the code is something like 1234 or 5678, but sometimes it varies. Try to contact Nokia and ask for the default code. Hope that helps!
Here's a tip: go and click on our channel and see how many products we've checked out these past few months. I have 9 phones waiting right now to unbox, a couple of ultrabooks and tablets, and a new 24" gaming LED monitor that I won. Glad you have your iPhone though.
Hi there! We'll try to get a hold of those units for you so we can do a video about them. We do have a Nokia 303 on hand right now and we'll be reviewing that soon. Hope you can check it out! =)
I'm just looking for a phone that can be a best friend (like my N73 that goes through ''life and death'' but it died 2 years ago), and can just do what a phone is suppose to do. I hate my phone because the battery drains like drinking water even though I didn't play games or use apps. Currently I'm looking at Nokia 110 and Nokia 101. And I'm living in Singapore :)
