Is The New Nokia 6 As Durable as Legendary 3310? Drop Test From 3, 5, 10 & 50 Feet! Warning, DO NOT TRY, May Destroy Your City. 2017 Nokia 3310: • NEW Nokia 3310 Release... Fake Samsung Galaxy S8: • NEW Fake Samsung Galax...
have you ever seen a "true" 3310? apparently not xD of course its not but im pretty sure EAP rigged this test. the 3310 is wayyyyyyy tougher than what is shown in this video
I have dropped my Nokia 6 multiple times before I got a case and picked it up fully expecting a cracked screen. Nothing but a tiny scratch! Since it is a Nokia maybe I should start worrying about breaking my floor!😂
I think the fact that the 3310 breaks every time is helping it. All that energy from the fall is going to the pieces that shoot off instead of actually breaking it. This is a new technology that all phones should have.
Thanks EverythingApplePro I was about to drop my Nokia 6 from fifty feet but thanks to you I didn't because now I know that it would shatter my phone. Thank you so much!
nokia forever!!! I still have a nokia c2 phone for 5 years now and still running smoothly! i have decided to have him retire now so i am planning to buy a new smartphone either asus or samsung!! Now i changed my mind, it'll be Nokia smartphone again.
I dropped my iPhone 7 with a case on and screen protector from my waist and it stopped working the screen went green and then never came back on and there where no cracks or dints or bends. And I can't believe that phone screen works and mine phone looks perfect but no screen showing
The 3310 certainly wasn't the sturdiest Nokia phone back in the day (that award would go to some of the 51x0/61x0 models IMO), but one thing you have to keep in mind is that the shell easily popping away on impact was part of the design. It makes absorbing the shock easier (since the parts can deform freely) And furthermore, since it was designed to be replacable, in case of a broken shell, you just bought another one - they were available in dozens of different designs at every mobile store for (literally) a few bucks.
dahauns i had an 8260 as my first cell phone, it actually fell from a third floor on my school(it slipped from my hand and went like 5 foot sliding on the floor before falling like 30-40feet and just the back cover and the battery flew, but it never failed until the swap to sim cards :( ) that was a champ, was a bit older than the 3310 but still cool as hell
The nice part is that you can still hold down the home button on the Nokia 6, since that button works, and say "call the police" if it's an emergency situation.
the fact it falls apart, but every single part always survives is the particular reason why the 3310 is considered so durable. i mean if nothing happens and you just have to reassemble it, pretty sure u wont like to see the opposite outcome.
Happy to say that the 2018 version still feels that durable! I will say, though, that my screen did crack before I had a case for it, but it was on the bottom corner, and I forget it's there all the time. I'd love to see another comparison!
During the drop: nokia 3310: i will lend you 1% of my power Nokia 6:thanks grandad! Nokia 3310: i will lower my defense so i wont shatter the floor. Nokia 6: so nobile *tears up *
Alek Gebu nokia sents or sell these phones to ppl like him to test and show how good this phone is, and ppl will buy it, you can buy nokia 6 in 2-3months
I've heard that Nokias are being used to fight ISIS. Soon Nokias will be used all over the world and it will be hell so... get a Nokia or 2 for yourself and hope that an army of 50000 people don't come at your doorstep throwing Nokias at you.
They did all those tests & made sure it will stand up against some of those drops. being a full touch phone, the Nokia 6 did well over the level of expectations. Kudos to HMD
A couple of things to remember, back when the 3310 was popular you could buy new cases everywhere. Also there were rugged Nokias with X-Press covers like the 5210 that didn't fall appart.
Jesus, $240 for this! Glad to see Nokia back in the smartphone game. If I ever break my 6s Plus, I might buy this and put up with Android until I can afford a new phone.
