Within a minute of this video I was there with you! I dare stick my neck out and say you are probably the most engaging, helpful and informative detectorist on the interweb but still entertaining! Thanks Sid.
carnt beat those tones on the legend love them. Great vid , invaluable to us Legend users.. be great with the sim head phone and speaker audio comes in the next update, plus all the rest of the updates, its gnna be a monster.
Thanks for such a useful and informative video Sid, for those of us relatively new to detecting (and with a legend) these types of videos are gold dust where we can see set-up and how it operates and sounds in experienced hands. Thank you 🙏
Hi Sid Rambo here bought the legend ,put in your settings..have now gone from no silvers using my deus since feb to three silvers in the space of a week on fresh cut pasture..Charles 2 two pence.lizzy sixpence ,William 3 shilling !!!!! What a machine …thanks for your advice mate ! Nice one .
Brilliant vid Sid. It's good to see what type of signals you dig and what you are listening for in real time. Confirms that it's not just me that digs pretty much everything that sounds near decent, even if it's just out of curiosity. Keep safe pal, cheers!
For me this is the perfect detecting video to understand what's going on & how to 'tune' it. I've noticed in the last week or so a lot more iron tones now the soil has dampened down. Don't be afraid of it, trust The Legend & it will still bang out those 'dig it' tones. Really good commentary Sid, taking us to the field with you & your thought processes.
Awesome video Sid Your swinging patterns are seamless and smooth You're definitely right the tones on the Legend Amazing and so easy to customize I'm racking vintage silver like you read about it Good stuff brother
Love the live digs Sid helped me sort my problems out with my legend 😝 now not getting loads of ghosts beeps thanks to watching how to do things correctly 😝 now enjoying the Legend thanks pal
That was brilliant Sid as I have just ordered the legend and will be clueless to start with. I hope you do more not only for the machine but talking through what you do and listen for. Really enjoyed that and will watch a few times. Look forward to the next one.
Nice video sid bud it will help new legend users to understand the machine a lot better, it takes time and patience to get the best out of eney machine. Some are Easyer to master than others. 👍😊
@@englandshistory sid, 2 forms of cancer has made recenlty me stop at 54 . But I to tend to know settings etc and tweaks to make others have a better experience their machine
Two certain RU-vid heads been slaging the legend off a good un, does crack me up to obvious cant use it, absolutely love mine its amazing on iron infested sites
@@Self_Aware_Since_Aug_29 cant fault my legend been on a site that me and a mate have hammerd to death a very iron infested site to and it pulled up plenty of more coins, lead, buttons plus other bits, that the nox600 and simplex could not get past the iron, so i know it does the business
Fantastic mate nice to watch live videos I think I learnt the most that I’ve seen since I’ve been watching videos of the legend thanks Sid keep up the great work Glad your recovered from the dread covid Was you in DawleyTelford the other day mate?
My daughter watches the videos with me when she pops around to see us not that she has any choice ha ha and she thought she saw you at her neighbours house next door she lives in Dawley
Hi Sid. Lot of shit under the water since we all met in Holland. See u September when we cross the Irish sea. Umm! That machine might be my next purchase?
hi sid can you explain the custom first 2 and wrap around bit not really sure your settings look ideal any tips with latest 1.09 with new features very informative way of detecting which i also like just got my legend it looks a cracking machine thanks
Hi Sid I think I have a problem with my legend. I just found my first hammered on Saturday then today I was out in the field, the same as yours in the vid, ploughed and worked down. I got an iffy signal then lost it. I could pinpoint it but could not get it when swinging over. I dug it out using the pinpointer on the machine to locate it. It was a predecimal penny. I swing over it uncovered and the machine picks it up to 18onches above the ground. I put it back in the hole not covered. Swing the coil over and nothing at less that 8 inches under the ground. I have noticedi have been finding stuff but nothing deep except iron. Any ideas please? Thanks for the vids. I am running with the settings from your earlier video for pasture and m2. Cheers. I really want to keep going cause I like the legend but not over confident I'm not just getting the targets in the top 4 inches.
Did you check the hole make sure no iron was present and also if the ground is mineralised or if interference about it will effect depth, same as all machines 👍🏼👍🏼
@@englandshistory would this be true though even with the coin in the hole uncovered? Surley that's the same as it being on the field surface Thanks for the help by the way.
@@andynicholls7201 yeah it wont be as effected by ground as if covered but will still make a change to results … the search area is a wide scan especially with DD coil
Hey Sid, I keep pondering why people only find 1 pot leg in the middle of a field. Where’s the rest of the pot? Did the leg walk there on its own or was it the equivalent of a pound coin when cash was scarce? ? ?
@@englandshistory I think a lot of us wonder why that is. And also why all the bits of mostly smooth lead, like they have been someone’s loose change. I also wonder if the experts could test the lead to find out how old it is? I was told the Romans once used lead as currency. 👍👍
Nothing worth loads but some beautiful items dating back thousands of years👍🏼👍🏼 its such a buzz finding stuff that was last touched by a roman soldier or someone from the bronzeage period… love it
