Dirtfishing, your coin hunting videos have proven to be the best...Nokta Impact, Minelab Equinox 800, and now the Legend...Keep up the good informative work. 👍
This video just now helped me out so much. I barely dug a single piece of trash. Took me a minute to get the hang of getting rid if everything from 0 to 18. Left the Reston and then watched for signs of iron on the left side of the screens. So nice to be learning this stuff. Thanks again man
@@Coinstojewelry I used a some pens I got from amazon but you may be able to find something from your local store. I think they are called paint pens. amzn.to/3Oclx61
Hi, I’m in the UK so none of our coins relate to yours and we don’t have 350 million people dropping their coins all over the country and we can’t hunt parks, however, I put this program into my legend just to see and it worked really well . Six coins on my first trip out where I normally score about 1 a month . So thanks from across the pond 👍
I used you settings in my parents yard rocky yard and found 17 coins. I new 90 percent what I was digging before I dug it going on numbers and tones 👍. This was the second time I hunted there yard and missed 17 targets with stock settings. I will give it a try at a few tot lots tomorrow and let you know. Any settings for the beach? Thank you I really appreciate you and your channel take care
ty for your settings i will give it a try i have a ? when i use single m1 or m2or m3 for frequency and go to use my pin pointer i get alot of chirpping from my pin pointer and my detector together but when i change my frequency to 15khz or 20 khz the chirpping goes away wh
Yes I used a paint pen. That is what I think it was called. It was marker like pen with a real fine tip. Something like this in the link. amzn.to/3UwDzBD
Subscribed, good information. I don't have my legend yet but was wondering how you save this program for future use in the custom settings and how many custom programs you can have saved? Can you name your custom settings? As in coin, coin trash etc.
You can have 4 custom saves per mode; for example, four for beach, four for park etc for a total of 16 saved custom profiles. RU-vidr Quarter Hoarder has a tutorial on the Legend; he shows how you save profiles there. As far as I can see, the four under each mode(beach, gold etc) are just numbered 1 through 4; so you cannot custom name them. Nothing like answering your own question after doing some research. Left it here in case anyone else wants to know.
I used these setting on my first trial run, i just got my machine today. I seem to have some background noise. It that normal or do i have something wrong ?
It has been a while since I used the Nox but if I did not have either one right now and was going to buy one I would buy the Legend. Good performance plus a lot cheaper.
Im about to head out this morning, l'll give those settings a try, I only been out detecting 3 times thus far, and as it stands I am not impressed by this detector, it seems to really like small pieces of foil 3 to 5 inches deep, granted i'm just getting to know this detector so there is still a chance haha, Before this detector, I always made my own, my favorite being a clone of the Whites IDX-Pro, took the legend to a park where I hunted a lot with my homemade IDX, let me tell you i did not miss much, The legend only found a few pennies i missed, but i dug up a pouch full of small foil and the occasional bottle cap all of which my IDX skipped right over haha. Im glad i bought this one from you just, because it's nice an lite, and modern, but it's not a performance upgrade from my IDX that is for sure.
@@DirtFishing Good afternoon, Your setting made it a lot more enjoyable, and although i didn't find anything other than pennies, i didn't dig as much foil as i had the other day, I don't hate the legend, i know i have to give it some time to fine-tune it thought.
@@DirtFishing Yupe, thanks for sharing yet again, BTW like i said i don't hate the legend, I'm just little disappointed that it's not any better performance-wise than something I made myself that is essentially 20-year-old technology haha I was really hoping to take it to a park where I have been cleaning it out for last couple of years and have it magically pull silvers left and right lol cuz I have found plenty of silvers there. haha Cheers! hope you are still enjoying that Deus2?
They could sell more detectors if the battery options included regular double A Batteries. This is practical when in the field requires it. With so many options in Programing yet no battery choice. WHY NOT!
I use a rechargable power pack like you'd use for your mobile phone. Just take the charging cord with you. It'll also charge up your headphones. A power pack can save a hunt. Get one that's at least 20,000Mah.
