I met Nolan this past January. He grew up five minutes from me and works out in the off season at my college where I also play baseball. I've never seen anyone work harder or have a more complete love of the game. He was never too busy to talk to anyone and is a very genuine person. He is one of the best players for sure on, and off the field. he deserves all he's gotten and more

He's on track to become the greatest all-around third baseman of all time, which is awesome because fans and teams in general have under-appreciated defense since the home run heavy 'roid era. NA's already mentioned in the same breath as Brooksie, Brett, Schmidt, and Beltre...AND HE'S STILL IN HIS TWENTIES. 'Nuff said.
