Troy: "What came out in 1988?" Nolan: "My friend Todd." I bust out laughing so hard at this that everyone at my job wondered if I was having some kind of mental breakdown.
I swear the first time I played through the train level of Uncharted 2, one of the times I threw one of the bad guys off, you (Drake) said, in perfect Harrison Ford voice, "Get off my train!!!!"
Best show, period. Cable, internet, everything in between. This show is amazing. So much so that I noticed you guys were late on the upload and I got bummed out. XD
I would love it if they had an episode where they made it seem like they were playing a game but instead they were just watching a movie to get more references for future episodes.
Been watching the Retro Replay videos for the first time. They’ve all been a delight. I could listen to these two all day. On this episode... what did you want Ewan McGregor to do, Nolan? What?
I want to see a marathon episode pushing through a bunch of Zelda games. Keep the great game playthroughs coming! Remember, you play to get the nostalgic feeling, but the price is actually having to play through these older games that were harder than everything out there now days.
We need more Christopher Walken discussions. Also, he needs to play a president. My favorite roles of his are True Romance, Things to do in Denver, and Seven Psychopaths.
Awww... it made me a bit sad that they couldn't reach any of the Robot Masters, but I get it, it's a tough game. I spent hours and hours trying to reach them and defeating them back in the day. It was part of the fun, getting to the boss, learning their patterns and finding the right order to defeat them, which is a little bit difficult to do in one session. Still, it was super fun with their banter as always, and that little Sir Anthony Hopkins story? Come on! PRICELESS. :)
YES YES YES!!! I kept checking my notifications to see if Retro Reply posted yet, and was so excited for Thursday and now I'm a very happy person to see Troy Baker and Nolan North back again with an awesome video
Everything in this video up to, and including the Alice in Chains reference was so nostalgic for me as well as every other episode. Keep it up, fellas!!! P.S. meeting Troy Baker in Philly at Keystone Con was the highlight of the year for me 😎
ANOTHER great show my good men...Here's a thought, with the 'All Hallow of eves' nearly upon us.... Back in the 80's over here in Scotland, i spent many a day throwing my 10 pence pieces into the arcade game that involved a Jason Voorhees who had seriously let himself go...(must've been a lull in camp guidance teachers), various phallic looking enemies and an awesome soundtrack straight out of Steve Vai's back catalogue....You've got it..........SPLATTERHOUSE!!!!
All we need is for: Troy to play Johnny Storm, Roger (Craig Smith) to play Mr Fantastic, Nolan (or Travis) to play The Thing, and for Laura to play Mrs Invisible
Thanks for making me laugh guys. And a few ideas on what to play next: Kirby Sonic the Hedgehog Super Mario Brothers Earthworm Jim Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers Keep up the good work and never stop being spontaneously funny.
I think im crying right now , Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeees finally the play Mega Man my favorite game of all time . Thanks Drew and Troy and Nolan for this specil episode of the best channel forever.
am i the only person who was introduced to Walken through the Prophecy? He blew me away in that movie and i've been a fan ever since. I think that was probably the only serious role i have ever seen him in....well, that...and country bears i guess. lol
Nolan if you are a Ewan Mcgregor fan you should check out this tv series he and his best friend did where he literally rides a motorcycle around the world called The Long Way Round. They get some incredible adventures along the way.Awesome thing to see.
Hahaha, ok 1.)The cat sex clip made me laugh out loud....at my cube (thank guys) 2.)"It gets longer....it get's longer...it get's longer..." Am I too late for a "That's what she said?" 3.) The mention of Canadians is great, considering I strolled into work with a Canadian Tudexo 😂 This video had me laughing so much
I’m not at all surprised about the story of Anthony Hopkins! He seems lovely in real life. Even if his acting chops can have him threaten a character, with kind eyes and a gentle voice 😆
Yay my favourite duo back again this so good you always makes us laugh and this is hilarious I would need to play these games I never played them either
Yes, I love to see them playing a NES game! My suggestion for a game is Journey to Silius, an NES game with an awesome theme and the plot device of a floppy disk with secret plans. Yes, it takes place in the future...
Honestly, my treasure every Thursday to wind down and relax with my favorite actors along with our mysterious talent Drew who brings us our amazing show with great editing!
“There’s never enough thyme.” Haha Timecop 😂 JCVD films are a treat. Hoping to see some retro racing games, like Road Fighter. That game specifically was fun to play 😊
One of the few NES games I remember completing on my real NES back when it came out so it can't be THAT hard. The end sequence was pretty nice for the time.
