Nolan Taylor Opens Up About "Darkness" 

I really appreciate a song about mental health issues. So many do not want to talk about suicidal thoughts. Amazing lyrics.

I simply cannot put into words just how powerful this whole interview was and still is. Nolan is going to be big one day. There's certain artist who just got it. Not only the voice, but the passion and the story. Nolan has all of that. For someone who grew up in similar circumstances as Nolan, it is such an empowering feeling knowing that someone else went through hell and back and is still standing to tell their story. He didn't give in when there were more reasons to do so than to not. Darkness is such a great song that truly tells the story for millions of people and what they go through. Even if you haven't lived through it, it can give you some insight. I am so glad to have jumped on the train when I did and cannot wait to catch a live show whether that is here in Minnesota or planning a road-trip to Kentucky. Thank you Burt for asking the good questions and really shining a light on lesser-known artists. You're the man!
