Nolichucky River Kayaking 

On Feb 3, we hit the Noli. It’s a 3 hour drive from home, so it’s always an early start. The morning was cool, but by noon it had warmed to around 50 degrees. Not only did we have great weather, but we also had a healthy 2,100cfs to work with. I missed the memo on boat selection, as everyone had a slicey boat but me. Since I was fighting a cough and not feeling 100%, I was okay with the Scorch though. We piled in Bret and Carly’s van to set shuttle, then we hit the river 🤙🏼
