Nomad and Kozak in the Next Ghost Recon? 

This would be perfect. Love me some Nomad but I really want to play as someone new, but having him in my ear running the ops would be awesome.

I would prefer an all-new squad with new characters.

I like the idea of Hunter team with Nomad as Overlord, at the same time I'm open to all new characters as well. If the game were to go in the direction of Nomad overseeing Hunter team, a way they could do away with the tech, is have a prologue that has the Ghost tech become compromised through a network hack. Essentially the game would start with Hunter team launching their operation against an enemy faction, midway through the op their tech seizes up, coms are compromised and the true threat is revealed. Now, being cut off from resources and tech, the first portion of the game you have to acquire gear, tech, weapons, etc. Also you have to restore the Ghost infrastructure as you dismantle the enemy threat. For me, I would prefer a game that puts the Ghost back into conventional fighting where you can use more assets in the military arsenal. Let the Ghost go up against a formidable military/ paramilitary force, where they can use airstrikes, attack choppers, artillery and even QRF units sort of like the Advanced Warfighter series.

I’m going to say Scott Mitchell is on the joint chiefs of staff as a general. He can still make an appearance or two, but I like the idea that he is reporting directly to the Oval Office. As far as overlord character goes, I’m going to say bring in two. Nomad is one back at HQ and Alicia Diaz is your CIA Liaison. If you’ve read the novel where Andrew Ross makes his first appearance, you probably know that Diaz is part of the special activities division for the CIA. Part of the overall plot is that the ghosts and the CIA continue to have conflicting objectives. CIA like starting wars and having them prolong whereas the ghosts like finishing them. With that in mind, Diaz might be having trouble trusting her colleagues and call in old friends this returning “home” so to speak. As far as the Ghost squad, there’s two ways they can do this. We return to having a roster like the original games where there were specialists or bring in a completely new team. I love Hunter and their banter was legendary but its been nearly twelve years since we’ve seen them… it’s time for some new blood. I want them to create a new Young Legend for us to build up for the future of the franchise. As far as lore, yes. We need more nods to the originals. Hell, Will Jacobs from GR 1s profile says he was interested in Politics following his military career. He should be in the White House by now 😂

I don't want the idea of future tech to be taken away, Future Soldier and Advanced Warfighter show us that the balance with realism and high tech gear is possible and gives an unique identity to this franchise, we can have options in the game to have high tech gear enabled or not.

i don't know about the story angle but what i think we need is a Urban setting for the Ghost Game to take us away from the bushes a little. sky scrappers, floor clearing, city combat. we need Ghost on a Division like City setting but bigger in Ghost Recon style.

Would not mind the new squad, as long as they do them right. As for Nomad, I agree with the idea about him, to return in the Scott Mitchell role. Or to be recruited into the Fourth Echelon, and make an appearance as a side character in the new game that way. But I really hope that they'll upgrade the "tools" in the game. e.g. for SNR bipod to be deployable in prone position, that way to enhance the aiming stability, but limit the angle of engagement. Or for night/thermal vision to be available only when it's visually equipped. Distance of the target to be visible only when the Range Finder is equipped on a SNR/ASR and when aiming through the scope. To be able to use at least a HDG or certain types of SMG's when riding a bike. 2 characters to be able to ride one bike. Ghillie suits to actually work/have the intended effect. When communicating using the mic in multiplayer, for the NPC's to be able to detect players if they're too loud on the mic. And most importantly .. to be able to turn the damn IR Illuminator on or off.

I could see him at the beginning but turning the mission over to a new team. But I didn’t think of going further as a mission advisor. Sounds dope.

Having Nomads voice throughout the game running the operation would give the game that comfortable familiarity and pull you right back in.

@ASQD. I am a Ghost and this is the option that the Ubisoft team should go with. The introduction of a huge training option as a function with all aspects of actual warfare. I've said this for a long time that it's time to bring multiple Clancy titles and newer options under the umbrella of Ghost Recon. It's time to bring a global open world experience of warfare to this franchise. Squad, Arma and SDF is the way GR should move in, it's time for warfare.

Everytime I watch a Breakpoint video I keep reminding myself how beautiful this game was. Unlike Wildlands it was empty but had this amazing atmosphere.

Honestly been toying with a story idea that I’d love to see in a future GR game with the idea of Nomad overseeing the operation.

Future tech is grounded, what you want is 2000s nostalgia game. I'm honestly fine with future tech love it but they also need to do alot better with unique miniboss and boss npcs|| The problem was that Breakpoint overused drones and didnt have anything really unique when it came to enemy npcs so keep drones but reserve them for very special encounters and also do better with unique NPCs like in the Breakpoint concept art for some of the Wolve lieutenants

Honestly, the tech used in future soldier wasn't even bleeding edge. Being 'grounded in reality' doesn't mean stripping away enhancements and augmented gear in the special teams -- it means embracing newly acquired kit and gear for field testing use cases. Ever heard of the U.S. ARMY NATICK CENTER ? Stuff does get used on deployments. To be real as you put it actually means making warfighting easier on the Operator by simplifying complex tasks and narrowing down the battlefield activities to the most critical, essential and time sensitive obj's.

I do miss Kozak.

Honestly my wishlist for this game is •gunstruction/tarkov customization •A much more alive setting but based in somewhere like Europe, •more cqb weapons like kamas and wakazashi •more indoors combat like mansions •no drones •a whole new squad •first person

What if they made a new team where it is made up of characters that you create instead of a given team in the world. You create every characters look and voice

Nomad can take his grunting self home where it belongs, Midas and Holt are medically discharged, and a completely new team assembled. Location wise; i don't care if it's real world or made up, just make it seem like a real place

Maybe... Idk, I do love the Idea of Nomad being like a Scott Mitchell or a Bowman character but we need Newer teams and stuff. Not GRFS in my opinion

Once again, this could all be solved if they actually ran the characters in an actual ODA unit. Mitchell as the Capt., Nomad as his 2IC (Make him a Warrant). Or bump Mitchell to commander and make Kozak a Capt with Nomad as 2IC or vice versa. I'll say it until I'm blue in the face: they have the ingredients to develop an insanely awesome game if they would just use the real-world mechanics of an ODA team.

I'd rather have Nomad as the ghost lead once again with Midas, Holt , kozak and 2 other ai teammates.. After this one Nomad can be the commanding officer

Ok, hear me out. The next Ghost Recon is set in Taiwan in 2028. Nomad is in Mitchell's position now. Holt has a prosthetic leg and is running a new ghost team. Midas is his 2IC. They are tasked with training the Taiwanese troops on ways to defeat an expected Chinese invasion of the island. Holt has a new recruit fresh out of selection and this is his first assignment as part of a Ghost Team. While the Ghosts are stationed there, China decides to launch it's invasion. It creates a naval and aerial blockade of the island to prevent NATO reinforcements of the island. The ghosts must work with surviving NATO and Taiwanese personnel to repel the attack and open a route for reinforcements to respond to the island in addition to creating an insurgency of Taiwanese Patriots. What do you think?

I really hope that they still have female characters in the Recon Team I have throughly enjoyed Wildlands and Breakpoint, with my female Nomad and team, I find the games really immersive. I just hope when they design the next Ghost Recon game, they remember us girls who play this game and really enjoy this franchise can continue to do so, in an immersive way.

Before they launch the new game, I want Breakpoint story mode playable offline. Concerned servers will eventually shut down and the game not playable. Can't afford a PS5 yet.

In a hypothetical new ghost recon game I would like to see all the good stuff from the two merged into one and introduces social stealth like assassin's Creed, also keep the roleplaying aspect of narrative choices for things like interrogations, and Intel gathering in civilian style clothes alongside a a camo index, hunger and thirst enhanced. Bivouac inside buildings and the wild, an enhanced survival system for persistent injuries in a newer ghost mode.

The teammates in the new game need to have a lot of different dialogue and better placement for it. The past two games whenever they say something, it just made me go oh yeah they exist. Something more like future soldier would be amazing. I love your videos, keep it up! I hope Ubisoft finds your videos and listens.

There’s one game that I want to be made. A prequel to Breakpoint which follows the events as shown in the Middle East cutscenes. It’d be the first game in the Middle East and could retroactively make Breakpoint better. Throughout the game Von will continue to make bad calls and order you to do dumb stuff until eventually he does the... “actions”

After the last showcase I have very little faith that they will give us something we want what do ever. Probably a new female led character or team with some woke bs riddled thru the game. Then call everyone sexist when it’s terrible

Oh god no! Please, "Nomad" no more. Time for new heroine and heroes. Or allow us Ubisoft, to name and create our own SOF squad. Also by giving us abilities to rank and specialize them with certain skills. And give them unique ideas and personalities. Also apply our own call-sign"names" to them. This is next logical conclusion and step. And unlock as many available in-game NPC faces. And add different height and body shape. No longer 1 height/shape fits all boxes.

In the next Ghost Recon I would like the camera to be more like Wildlands, where you can't move your camera around 360 degrees while moving, the camera stayed where you moved and looked while moving. That's what ruined Breakpoints Ghost war for me. Wildlands Ghost War was much better.

Tbh i hate the whole Future Soldier stuff, all of the futuristic stuff which came with scott. So i would actualy prefer a whole reboot of ghost recon without Wolves, Future Soldier, Bodarks and all of that. But still i enjoy the gameplay to much so either way i'll prob. play the next GR

Keep Breakpoint as canon, but make it part of a combat simulation program that Nomad volunteered to participate in to test the program's viability for use to train special operations troops in the future. That way, you could still say that the events in Breakpoint truly happened, but it was based on a simulation and the next game would be an opportunity to start a new GR game that isn't open world. The next GR game should go back to being a squad based tactical game based around a campaign with around 20-25 missions (and of course an MP mode). The missions should feature a mix of small to large maps with multiple objectives with a few missions that are similar to Modern Warfare's Clean House mission where we must do raids in close quarters environments. The cutscenes can be just as many as we got in Wildlands and each mission would feature an in-game insertion (helo landing, HALO jump, fast rope, etc.) of the target area that the player selects in the briefing and planning screen. They have a great opportunity to create a great GR game that brings advanced squad control based around completing complex objectives in a large number of missions set in a variety of environments around the world with multiple GR teams that the players create from an actual GR roster by the devs and a character generator that the player can use to make their own operators. In the end, Ubisoft simply don't have the right people to make these decisions and release this type of game for at the least the PC and then later for consoles.

Brake point was a good game was not a big fan of all the future weapons like drones wild lands is my favorite one it was more realistic.. nomad is ghost he would have to play and role some how some way.. if and when a new drops i will definitely get it there’s so much the developers can do to make one hell of game

Hmm… I still think it should be optional whether you want to have a grounded game or not like let it be a choice if you want to have the future soldier, tech or not because people would love to have the choice. I am a future soldier, fan boy I’ll even admit it you’re more of a wildlands fan. I can tell that much, but don’t take away the choice if people can have the choice to even choose in the first place.
