Thank you so so much for this video. I bought my mala (blue lapis)when the Jade Buddha was here in South Florida, many years ago, and they broke. I have researched and purchased every thread that they claim will stand up to semi-precious beads. None last very long. Your video is the first and only one I needed to watch. I can, now, restring my mala and know it will last. Thank you, thank you, thank you❣
You underestimate your teaching skills. Thank you for the details I’m just starting out and am gratefully appreciative of the extra tutoring. My hands look like yours so we must be close to the same age. I welcome your talents and thankful I found you.
Great session Catherine! We love being there in person but this is the next best thing! You’re doing an amazing class. Well done. Now we can all make a Mala and buy our beads from Nomad Desings!
Thank you so much!!! your tutorial has been the best by far!!! I have seen many tutorials about making Mala necklaces ...yours has topped them all. thanks again
Super nice tutorial, Catherine. Even the most experienced knotter is going to learn new tricks/techniques from you! Looking forward to your future videos.
Thank you so much for this tutorial. I have made unknotted malas. My Crystal and amethyst mala broke after enough mantras and I want to knot it this time. You’re a great teacher!
Loved this video! Simple to the points instructions and slow enough to see exactly 💯 how you're doing it. I actually made a PRIVATE PLAYLIST just for this video so I could easily refer back to it anytime 😊. Thank you so much for sharing ❤ 💕.
Thank you very much for making this video! I have made my own Mala Beads using your technique and I love how it turned out. I will also be making rosaries using your technique as my old ones were made with too much spaces between the knots since I didn't know that you can use a tweezer to tighten the knots. Thank you again!
Some friends and I took this class from Catherine last year, to celebrate a friend's baby. We loved it and treasure our malas! I'm grateful you did this Catherine bc I'm challenged in remembering the knotting process here....
July5,2023,,,,Thank You🙏🏼 i have 13 malas to restring. And what a trip the first half was. Who'd thought putting a knot by a bead required practice!! i need needlenose tweezers now!✌🏼
BEST TUTORIAL EVER, you’re so calm and skilled! This knotting technique seems way more efficient and simple, and from the start to the end I learned things that I will definitely use ! Thank you SO MUCH for your work and for sharing it! 🤍🌈🌈🌈
I don't understand one if the step, one of the mala some people do every 11, 1 different color, in this ine the lady is doing 27, can some one have the Knowledge about this beautuful Tranquility and Label Peace necklace what's the difference please?? I'm trying to make my own one, but i don't know if any difference for one person to other, the color's and long of the stream ¿-? Please, please, i have a intuition the i have my own ine assap. Thanks🤲 🙏Namaste🙏
Would you please do a video on how to make a giant loop for easy clasping on the end of a beaded necklace that doesn’t have individual knots in between?
The whole reason I'm wanting to make my own is because all the commercial ones seem to use nylon, only for the video to suggest nylon as well. Why not natural fibers like hemp, jute, cotton, etc?
Hi I wanna ask: I end up needing extra thread because my mala is becoming long. I only find 2m of Griffin so I need to combine two. Can you make a video to show how we should do this?
