Man this thing is a beast! Those are some thick ass tire treads there Scabber! Yep a really nice looking bam bam stick. The knife itself? Absofrigenlutely awesome. Great demo and a really badass knife brother. Zeke and Vic again hit it outa the park!
Another very cool blade Scab. WTG sure know how to make blades. Great blade, design, great handle, great sheath and it chops great. Hope your weekend and Megatron are going great brother 🇺🇸 🇳🇿
Hey brother I think this one would do very well in your environment maybe strap it on your pack something like that. I'm definitely going to take it camping with me and just see what all I can actually do with it I love this damn thing! I hope you're having a fabulous weekend my friend and love always!!
@@choirboyzcutleryoutdoors cheers Bro! Yeh I sometimes hunt with an old Army Alice Pack which has a nice handy compartment down the side so think I might try putting a jungle golock down the side to have an extra survival tool handy. Weekend is great so far thanks. Went for a nice walk with a rifle and Bowie knife this morning. No deer but was so great to get out and about. Cheers Brother
Much appreciated my brother. She is coming along nicely it did take a lot longer than we thought for the initial recovery but they did stay in there quite a while so I'm just glad it's getting better now
Scab, watching you go to work with that Camp 12 was a "Holy Shit Moment", and a real eye-opener ! So much so that I immediately tried to order one from the WTG website, only to receive the dreaded "OUT OF STOCK" notice. I left my contact info, and hope to get some response from them. Best regards to you and Megan !
It is a beast man I know they sold out fast but I also know there will be another run of them coming. I'm glad you left your info they're great folks hopefully we can get something situated for you
A Scab out in the storm rendition! You proved this handle is easy to hold onto when it's wet. I agree this is a great one tool option. Not too big, not too small. Works like an axe but can do fine cutting. It's well rounded for sure!
Thank you my brother! I hope you are doing well!! I absolutely love Zeke's designs they just work that's all I can say the damn things just work and I love them
Vic is an awesome guy, helped me way back when I purchased a Puzon first run. Worktuff makes a brilliant product and this knife is High on my radar love the review thanks Scab. I also like how you run the review and then later on narrated over it I think that works great!!
Thank you so much my brother! Vic is awesome he has been very very kind to me in every single aspect of this and I am forever appreciative to him for it
10:40 pm east coast...sold out! Thats at $300! Bohler K340 is excellent steel made at a 56-63 RC...depending on the purpose This one is right in the middle 57-59 RC perfect for hard use! I have the original in SK-85. Will never sell it. Now i need to save my pennies and hope i can score one of these while they still make them.Great vid Scab! Heard Megatron is a happy camper!
Ongoing best wishes to Megatron! The Camp 12 reminds me a bit of the Case M-1 Astronauts knife,...the first knife on the moon. Very similar size and blade profile.
I was actually very surprised to see the balance point being so close to the handle because seeing it in so many shorts and judging by the profile I thought it would forward heavy similar to a kukri. As for being a novice, you're a well educated novice but I respect the humility. Much love brother.
Most appreciative my brother I'm going to be honest with you the balance point on this is pretty typical of Zeke and his designs. He was the guy if you haven't checked it out or you did not know he was on the second season of knife or death he came in second. So he knows kind of what he's doing and I absolutely adore his knowledge and his designs
That is one amazing beast of a blade their Scab. Great video and I am glad that Megatron is doing alright. More big bowie knife videos from you, I hope. They are good. Have a nice evening Scab and I am gone son.
That's a beast! In all honesty I always have the issue of which to carry in the woods, axe/tomahawk/hatchet or a khukuri. Often I just end of packing both if the trip isn't too far because I can't decide!
Hey Scab, you ever hear of frog lube to put on your blades after working with them after you clean them of course,to apply it on blade for storage,it conditions the knife steel to prevent rusting an oxidation, also biodegradable and nontoxic for food prep as long as you wipe your blade down before use,I e used it for past 4 years on my 1095 blades an honestly it's kept all my blades from rusting in the field in wet environments when I've been on long camp trips, great stuff,I got it from knife center, thought I'd share this with you,you probably already knew this a out frog lube,I heard of the navy using this on their ships like engines, they found a ship at the bottom of the ocean with the engine well preserved cause of frog lube, know I'm not sure how true that is,but from my experience,I love how it works on my blades an how they still look brand new without rusting, anyway great video of this beautiful knife.
@@choirboyzcutleryoutdoors ,ok Kool ty,yeah I'd say the environment where you live with humility and heat an the swamp does a number on blades, I just thought I'd pass on some of my knowledge to another brother of the blade.
Woke up with every intention of picking one of these up tonight. Had a big Birthday yesterday for my youngest so held out. Caved in and went to grab one and they were sold out by 8:30 😂 Zekes the fkin man
Hmmm 🤔 I don't know of Work Tuff Gear, but whoever designed that knife with that geometry definitely picked one of the right blade steels for the job 👍.
I do like that one. Reminds me of a Filipino barong in a way. Oh & btw I dont mind if "you're out of position" or not. You do make me nervous sometimes when you cut towards yourself &/or your other hand etc but I like the way you do things just fine. Lol
Brother if I'm being honest here most of my knives come out of the box this way. And then I religiously strop them. To me knife maintenance is every bit as important as sharpening. I am terrible on a whetstone but with a strop I can maintain an edge much much longer
@@3.0699 The 119 I love dude I've had mine for years and years and years. Give me a little bit of time I'll try to get my hands on a new 119 and the 120 and get some reviews out
That knife is $388 and is no longer available. Looks like a real good chopper to me. It may be a little too heavy for my environment I live in the jungles of Puerto Rico.
Everything wtg does comes back around. It'll be available soon they run things in drops and I do my best to let everybody know when they're dropping. It's got some weight to it brother there's no doubt about that I do have a full hard use with you on it. It may be a little heavy for that way that's a fact. I'm in Northeast Florida and there are certain areas that can be a bit much even though we are a little more woods than jungle
@@choirboyzcutleryoutdoors wow I've been around your neck of the woods I know what your environments like I've lived in Florida for about 30 years. It's similar but it's more vines and stringy vegetation. And the sun never touches the ground so there's no bushes really it's just all Vines. And of course the ones that have points on them that stick you 😜
@choirboyzcutleryoutdoors They're is angles for the dangals and they there's you being a stout bad ass from the bayou.....boondocks.... swamp......muddy water.😎
Scab..I sent an email to you on an official response from Blue Ridge Knives buyer of Ontario Knife Co. They said they are going to keep making OKC knives but have not worked out the details. Had to find out and let you know. 😊❤
