Hi Karl I'm a school bus driver, cdl, and air brakes endorsement for 30 yrs in NJ .People are getting crazier by the minute driving, can't wait to retire, and collect at 62😂 The best lesson is to always be a defensive driver. Safe lives and sanity. 😂
Here in North Carolina finacially poor high school kids used to drive school buses. There was a high profile accident and the poor kids were then relegated to flipping burgers. We now have a couple of decades of CDL government employees driving school busses; statistically they have a worse record than the high school kids. But with government, there is no going back. Be careful what you wish for.
Ive had a CDL as I drove school bus for 10 years after I retired from Fire Dept. You made some great points Karl, I agree with RVers need to focus on safety. Have a great day Amigo!
No way. I guess I shouldn't be surprised...he's a narcissist like Trump, but that's about where the comparison ends. Tim Baker is broke dick poor, pees in a plastic bottle, no savings, no 401k...got nothing.
Karl, in the state of Arizona it is required to have a non commercial cdl to drive large RV's based on weight and length, also in the state of MA. I think also in California. Russel creator of RVer TV has his. He had to get it for he and his wife's class A RV. My boyfriend has his Class 1 CDL with heavy haul endorsement . He hauls all over New England everything from building supplies to general grocery store products. He is always telling me this young nomadic RVer's are a real menace on the roads. He has been driving for almost 40 years i think. He drives for a small independent trucking company. He gets paid on commision. Twenty five percent of the cost of the load. Including detention time when he is delayed at a distribution center.
Same with Ontario, anything over 24,250lbs you need the equivalent to a CDL, and while its not really enforced, it will be if you need to tap your insurance company
And the lack of Schooling for new CDL holders.. is very scary. many licenses being handed out via bribes.. Which is the dumbest thing imaginable... Who would bribe someone only to kill yourself due to a lack of training to begin with.. Stay safe everyone,,
He drives for an Amazon logistics franchise. Their leased Amazon trucks. The cost is included in the Amazon logistic's franchise fees. Some Franchisee owners use their one trucks.
