You deserve a medal for lasting at Nomads as long you did. Your video speaks much louder than anything you've you say. There's already being a Hotel Inspector, maybe you could pitch a Hostel Inspector series. Hoping for your sanity that Nomads is a one-off.

Oh dear ! 😢 I am still a week or two behind you, but I hope that place is a fading memory now and in the end proves to be a one-off. I don't think hostels would be for me personally, but I have been surprised at how good the facilities were at most of the previous places you've stayed. Nomads reminded me to give my kitchen and bathroom a good clean soon !!😔

Hahaha ............... Yes most hostels are lovely in Australia 😃 I had some really good ones while there. But you will always come across one or two that need improvement!

What a dump, would have been healthier sleeping on the local park bench methinks, we are off to Bali on Wednesday, the hotel is right next to the beach and looks great !!!!!!, happy trails xx

Thing is they don't care due to the location. They will always have people staying there and it's all pass through new blood all of the time so they obviously feel no need to try to make it pleasant. They only care about money. Such a shame.

Yes I realize it’s a hostel and not a hotel but I have stayed in hostels for the lasts 3 months and nothing prepared me for that!!! In fact most hostels have been fantastic in Australia. It was such a shame as the location is fabulous. Hopefully things will get better soon? 🤔🥴

Lol 😂 yes but unfortunately I wouldn’t even say it was peanuts I stayed in cheaper cleaner places. The saddest thing is it could be a really fantastic hostel if they stepped up the cleaning routine. It really is a shame as the location and evening entertainment bar ect is great. It just needs some TLC.

That looks awful. You shouldn't have to put up with being treated like that and dealign with it. Thats disgusting. Hopefully you can report them. The fact they treated you like that over a broken bed Although its better then sleeping on the street

It was booked through a 3rd party so unfortunately I didn’t see any reviews first!!! It was definitely a learning curve for me. Unfortunately I think I might come up against this again unfortunately. But hopefully it won’t be as bad.
