For those of you who are interested, the Costco Next has this bag on sale for like two days. I order mine for 160 something USD after tax from Costco. Below 170, I think this is a good price point, right?
I have the 14L version which to me is much more comfortable. It also has 4 less pockets, making it less of an overkill. I've used it as a one-bag travel for 2-3 day trips (expanded to 21L). Also as a daypack to a water park. As a travel secondary bag and it has excelled in all 3 occasions. IMO, petite ladies should feel more at ease with the 14L version of this bag.

I’m in the market for a nice travel bag and all the recommendations I saw on Reddit were just too ugly or bulky. 😓 I’m a petite woman too so I love hearing your recommendations from a woman’s perspective! Ahhh you're gonna have so much fun! So i would go with the Aer Travel Pack 3 X-pac because 1 it's gonna be lighter than the Nomatic 2 Weather is gonna be unpredictable and you'll be moving around a lot so the X-Pac materials will keep the bag from getting really dirty, be easy to clean, and are very weather resistant so everything inside your bag will stay dry! Im around the same height and i hate how most bags greater than ~20ish L makes us look like turtles! I really like this bag so I'm just going to resign to the turtle life lol. Also, if anyone tried to put this under the seat expanded and packed, pls lmk if it fit!
The sideways roller board thing sucks. The cup holders don't work in that configuration. Most of my times traveling, the pack is on the roller board at airports or under the seat.
Love the features, but the weight can be a problem for airlines that have a 7kg limit for carry-on. Really need to be strategic with what you put in it. But then all the added benefits become moot.
While I love the organization, I also dislike the organization because then I feel like I need to put something in each pocket, which makes a heavy bag even heavier!! Have you considered the WANDRD Transit yet? I have the 35L and absolutely love it!
Glad you enjoyed! It should fit under the seat, but it may not fit the personal items requirements for the size for all airlines so always double check!
