I wanted to get a watch since EVER but it took me quite a lot of time to find one I would be happy with and one I can afford at least somehow. I will absolutely take care of my gorgeous timepiece! Sadly the Seiko is rare and way to expensive here in Germany. Like few Grands 😮. I think you are doing great content here really! Keep doing it. For example your wear-gide for watches is perfectly simple and helpful for me. I will pay attention to your channel in the future and follow your content. Hope you will get more watch enthusiasts to subscribe to your channel!! Maybe there are not so many out there at all. That could explain your shortage of attention on RU-vid. Hello Mal thanks for the mention. I have to say that I'm not usually a fan of Nomos watches. The modernist esthetique is not usually to my taste, however, this Nomos I find quite lovely and retro. The numerals remind me of the Tudor Ranger and the petite seconde complication also having a sunray effect adds to its loveliness. Congratulations to William for his wonderful choice of watch purchase. I am biased but anyone who owns a Michel Herbelin would be a watch collector of good taste.

@@martinkaplan1805 that's exactly what's William was bothered about, the bracelet in it self is like a rolex subby bracelet chomed version, you wont scratch it, but the locking part is chromed as F. So yeah, that part will scratch, but it is so beautifully chromed ! like a shinning mirror you'll see. So i told William "look, this watch goes with a cuff, you wear it with a shirt to protect it, but if you wear a polo or a short sleeve shirt, you put your watch on top of your other arm when sitting and you be careful. i do this with all of my watches, and they not even chromed on the clasp. That's the only way, i know it's not evident but with time it's going to be a habit. or long sleeves all the time to avoid any scratches. Because changing the strap when wearing short sleeves will be annoying as well. Me I would wear it and protect it like i do with all my stainless steel bracelets.
I got this watch as my first mechanical about 4 months ago, and I love it. I'm also a little surprised how little people talk about the value or this watch, and how well it's made. Seems like people praise watches that are more expensive, thicker, less decorated movements that are sometimes less accurate. I think it's one of the best options out there right now.
Totally agree, one of the best watch i ever held in my hands period ! And super innovative. People maybe prefer swiss or japanese instead of german wich would be a monumental error ! German watches are as good as swiss (A LANGE & SOHNE, ZEPPELIN, NOMOS ETC). Or maybe Nomos does not pay the big watch channels to praise them 😏. All the watches hyped are sponsored..
I got the petrol version.. to me, its a combination of dufour simplicity (long lugs, small seconds, fully polished) and the nautilus in terms of flat, thin case with great water resistance.. two of my grail watches combined in one watch at an accessible price.
