But honestly, I really couldn't focus too much on the video, my eyes were glued to your gorgeous baby girl! Seriously, you two have one of the most beautiful babies I have ever seen in my life! And she looks like a very happy, well behaved little girl too. That's always the sign of excellent parenting. Congratulations to you both, and God bless your very handsome family.❤

Larry didn't talk trash. He talked the truth and was more than a regular assassin because a regular assassin doesn't tell their target what they are going to do to them before they do it. Larry would tell his opponents what he was going to do and then he'd do it. He knew that it was just another form of psychological warfare and he used it to his advantage. This was significant because the game is more psychological than most people probably realize and Larry was unrivaled at getting in other players' heads and getting them out of their games.

I mentioned that Larry was a smart player. Mentally, he could tear you down. His knowledge of the actual game itself was like he wrote the book on it. I wish you could have been there to see Jordan & Bird play. Damn. Even if you weren't a basketball fan - they made it so entertaining you had to watch!

Larry Bird always wanted a challenge. Bird hated it when it was too easy for him. There was a game where he had over forty points, a triple double and was one steal away from a quadruple double after 3 quarters but he left the game because it was not a challenge. Time after time Bird told the other team what the play was and where he was going to shoot from before it happened and they could not stop him. Just look at the Celtics - Lakers game Byron Scott talked about. Bird told them the exact play. On the court during that play for the Celtics were Byron Scott, Michael Cooper(a great defender) James Worthy, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Magic Johnson - the last 3 being hall of famers and among the 75 greatest players of all time and they still could not stop him. Bird did miss a game winning shot against the Lakers during the 1987 playoffs, when he shot it everyone thought it was going in. Right before that Bird had hit a 3pt shot to put the Celtics ahead. by 2 with 12 seconds left. Then the Lakers come down. Kareem gets fouled, makes the first but misses the 2nd and the ball goes out of bounds off the Celtics. Magic gets the ball and hit a hook shot with 2 seconds left to give the Lakers the lead. Everyone knew who the ball was going to. Bird got the ball and a clean shot , but it missed by inches. Here are thoughts at the time about that shot: "It had perfect rotation, I was sure I had it" - Larry Bird "Oh God it's in, he's going to do it to us again" - Magic Johnson "I thought it was in, We got lucky" - Pat Riley In playoff games between Bird and Jordan - Bird 6 - Jordan 0

I got to see Michael Jordan play High School Basketball. He graduated in 1981 from Laney And I graduated from New Hanover in 1982. On New Hanover's team were two future pros. Kenny Gattison who played for the Phoenix Suns and the Charlotte Hornets. Clyde Simmons was a ProBbowl Defensive End with the Philidelphia Eagles, He played in the Infamous Fog Bowl. Michael Jordan did a lot of his moves in High School.
