I'm going to be dead honest, I wasn't expecting much. "Oh, another Infernum." Kind of came to mind, like it's a good song but it's just kind of done so much you kind of get sick of it. *And even then, I was impressed by this redux.* 0:58 - 1:15 showed a very generous amount of pitch control, something I felt like these songs needed more of, because a lot of the time they sat in the same key for a while-too long, even. 1:42 - 2:18 Boyfriends little haunting solo here as the song builds up had a potent amount of control and absolute MENACE to it. It felt like a wailing soul, beckoning you to hell. 2:18 - 2:37 Then the duet of Whitty jumping in literally felt like a fast paced boxing match of notes, like he was trying to get in some blows after getting absolutely beaten down. I love the callback to the almost angelic choir calm before the cracks and scream before Whitty went all out too. This one came with a lot of Desperation and emotion. Very well done.
