Hello, I'm here to inform you that sadly, Kanon Shizaki, also known as "Non-chan" would be stepping down on her role as Rei Togetsu of the D4DJ franchise. She alone is the primary reason on why I really like Rei Togetsu as a character, with her voice I consider as angelic. When she first started voicing Rinko Shirokane of the Bang Dream! franchise, many were skeptical about her casting as Rinko, being that people love her old voice than her current one, me being a part of the minority that immediately fell in love with her voice. That is why when I learned that she would be voicing Rei on a new franchise, D4DJ, I quickly became interested with it. You can clearly say that without Non-chan voicing Rei, I would probably not be making videos about D4DJ right now. Looking at Rei Togetsu as a character, you can clearly see that it is a character made to be voiced by Non-chan, with other fans of her stating that Rei is the embodiment of Non-chan. This video is an impetus that made my channel became what it is today, and so, I will leave this video as a memorial for her work as Rei Togetsu. Thank you for voicing her, Non-chan! She was the best as Rei But I still hope her new voice will be good 👍 and I like her as Rinko But I feel like every time she plays Rinko She’ll think of Her times Working on D4dj 😊🥲
A little nitpick: Nonchan vocal voice seems too powerful for a character like Rinko, as Rinko was supposed to be higher pitched when she was still played by Akesshan... I think they got Nonchan for the replacement primarily for her piano skills and not for her singing since Nonchan singing voice fits more for a "Yukina-like" (if not outright Rei-like) character, but she can still do Rinko normal voice close enough to Akesshan's so it's fair game
@@crownartristry6823 I think I'm a bit late in replying to this comment, but Rei Togetsu's VA (Voice actress) is Kanon Shizaki, who has "Non-chan" as a nickname. Hopefully that helped~

I know right? Sadly, she is currently on break right now (Vocal problems, probably because of how good of a singer she is), but I think it's for the better as I believe her birthday is 2 days away?
It's been confirmed that there will indeed be a 2nd season of the D4DJ anime, but not until 2023. In the meantime though, I am looking forward to this special that will feature Merm4id and RONDO, which is actually coming very soon from now.
Yep, I think it was confirmed during last April? Still, can't wait for all of the 6 units interacting with each other (I'm also looking forward for Rei of course~).
@@ABlankChapter Yeah. It’s quite unfortunate that Rei’s voice has been absent from the game these past months. Well from what I found out, her seiyuu Kanon Shizaki was diagnosed with Reinke’s edema. Apparently it’s taken that much a toll on her.
@@badgerstateelevators6363 She just finished performing for ROZEN HORIZON (a Bang Dream! Album), which may be a sign that she is slowly but surely recovering from it. Hope that she'll fully recover for the season 2. After it was publicly revealed that Non-chan, I have wondered why Rinko Shirokane's seiyuu (from Bandori) are diagnosed with such. Her first VA suffered from sudden deafness, and now, her second VA, Non-chan has vocal cords problem.
