The song was written by P!nk actually, and she gave it to Adam Lambert. There's her version on RU-vid and if you want to, there are many fan-duets of this song.
This is still one of the most memorable videos ive watched in my tween years, feels amazing coming back to it again and seeing it is still just as iconic as ever!
Damnn. When he started singing I was like holy crap whats happening. This is freaking great. I love how you pitched it. Especially his jump and the drums. Yes. I will repeat it again and again. Loveee it
I'm not an Adam Lambert fan,but I definitely love the pitches of this song it definitely makes it feel like a duet & yeah I'm guilty for repeating this video over & over again I just love it especially with how the clips blend in along with the effect that made it seem like they were singing at a night club I loved every minute(or should I say second) of it.:D
Ok, listen. I MADE THIS VIDEO. I think I know what I'm talking about. There IS a Pink cover of this song, but this is NOT it. The 'female' voice in this song is Adam's voice pitched two tones higher, using Sony Vegas - the pitched version of his voice just happens to sound freakishly similar to Pink's real voice.
I think what makes this one hit is the chemistry you build between the two characters almost right off the bat. The stylized approach to sew the looks together is a great addition to the atmosphere.
I've had this listed as one of my favorites for I think about a year now. I gotta say though, with the limited resources of "Mocha" you were able to really pull off a story, not only that but you actually matched up the story to the music! I love it. Great job!
If you want you can find many fan-made duets of this song (mash-ups of P!nk and Adam's versions). Maybe it's not the same thing, but there are many good versions :) (P!nk wrote this song).
Wonderful idea for a fan vid. These characters do look like they came from the same movie, so these scenes fit together well. And I like any fan vid that brings any attention to Rock and Rule, a really great and underappreciated animated movie. Great editing showing Mocha and Omar together, creating it's own narrative. This shows a lot of creativity and talent, you did a really great job with this, nicely done.
Wow! Just, WOW! What a great mash up of "Rock and Rule" and "An Extremely Goofy Movie"! Yes kids "the guy" is from a great movie called "Rock and Rule". But seriously, great job on this AMV!
Brooo... This video brings me such emotion reminding me of when I first watched it at 12yo or so and was absolutely stunned by its existence and I fell in love with it and the story you created. Thank you so much for creating this. It introduced to Omar's movie (Rock and Roll, I think). Thank you!
This is hands down, the best crossover I have ever seen. Even though you didn't mean to, there is a perfect story line going on, beautiful graphics, and characters with a wonderful, conflicting love story. I love this so much. I wish I could give you 50 thumbs up!
OMG, I can't believe that I still love and listen to this song and video, the first time I saw it was when I was 7 years old, it's been more than a decade...
i remember many years ago I came across this vid, but had never seen either movie nor the song before. together though, they made for a kickass mini musical. glad i found it again.
So that's the Omar I keep hearing from all those goofy movie fan fictions? At first I was like who the fuck is Omar, but now it like "oooooooh alright I get it now...after like 2 fucking years..."
It was perfect. Simply. The timing, the masking, the story, and the clips go with music in an ideal harmony. Also, Goofy and his girl in the disco scene were... very nice touch (I suppose you used them just to fill the empty spaces, correct me if I'm wrong), but them being there and dancing in the same time when Omar gets dumped by Mocha seems... just natural. LOL! xD And it adds some sort of contrast - happy couple and two heartbroken teens. Btw, ingenious idea with changing the pitch.
This is REALLY GOOD I watched it twice. Because I watched it the first time and didn't hear the pitch changes. When it finished I scrolled through the description expecting a storyline. When I found out the pitches had changed I rechecked and discovered they had changed and you were right. I'm telling you I didn't notice. However I really do love this video and will recommend it to all my friends. X Best wishes Kaia Lonergan XxxxxxxxxxxX
I've always been a fan of the animation for Goofy Movie and Rock and Rule; to time it to this song with the altered pitch... Eargasm! I can't stop listening to it! Well done, and thank you!
I discovered this video last night and I've just watched it over and over again. It's one of the best youtube videos I've ever seen and it is the best crossover I've ever seen. If I didn't know better I would have thought all the clips were from the same movie. Good job!
Seriously, this is crazy-fabulous. I first found it a few days ago and I literally cannot stop watching it. Every three hours it seems I have to come back and watch it again. Seriously, this is a work of art!
*Drools* Oh...geez...this was awesome. It was a beautiful crossover!! The scenes you used were just great for them to be in. Beautiful editing, and the story was crystal clear. I'm really glad this has so many views. It's a great video!!!
This is so bad ass! We stumbled across this last night on RU-vid and we must have watched this one at least four times. Besides, we own both the US and Canadian versions of Rock & Rule so it had a special place in our hearts. :)
........ This is too amazing. I really don't like watching cross over videos because they're usually so sloppy-- I've only seen one that was amazing and this is beyond great. I mean, when it's pulled off it's PULLLLLLED OFF.
I love this!!! Its so cool seeing videos with Omar or Angel cuz everyone that I know has never heard of Rock and Rule. Plus you did a really good job putting the two of them together
I watched this video when I was little and thanks to this video I news this song and every time I think of it this video pops up in my head whoever made it just know that YOU ROCK!!!!! and thanks for making it.
O____o I don't consider myself a major fan of crossovers, but youuu....you make it look realistic. It's rather like reading a well-told story than just watching fancy manips go by. And I really appreciate the time and effort you must put into these things, especially with two characters who seem like they'd be difficult to use. :3 As for the credits, I do believe she was in "An EXTREMELY Goofy Movie," as opposed to just "A Goofy Movie," but I know what you meant. :P
I am once again watching this and I still love this! I actually thought this was a duet between P!nk and Adam for the longest time...until I finally went to go find the song and looked in the information bar. Amazing job, I LOVE this video! ♥♥ "Two thumbs WAY WAY UP!"
Weeee a new vid from Shade :D Haha totally shipping this!! even though I don't know Omar that much XD but I've seen him around YT aaand....this song rocks! It's one of my faves :) Awesome job as always!
This couple is so underrated. This pairing is PERFECT, 10x better than Omar and Angel, in my opinion. Well done, and by seeing all your other work, you are officially my favorite cross-over creator ever!!!! :)
Oh my gods! I've seen the thumbnail for months and didn't click it because I didn't know who Omar was (still don't to be honest) but damn I was missing out! This is one fabulous video! The editing and effects are on point, the story is clear and smooth and worked really well with the song, and now I feel like an idiot for putting this off for so long. This is fantastic!
Agreed on all points! Omar is from this 80's Canadian movie called Rock and Rule, and the story is really weird (80's cult classic) but the music is pretty good and the animation is spectacular. The characters are also pretty interesting and likeable.
gah!! I like the idea of her bein Mocha Chino, I'd love to refer to her that way now! Anyway, I love both the goofy movies sooo much, and I'll always enjoy seeing Omar. This was fantastic, you made him fit in soooo well!!!
That was amazing! I love how you pitched Adam's voice to make it sound like both Omar & Mocha were singing to one another. I am definitely favoring this!
this is fabulous shade, after seeing the little bits you sent us i was really excited for this and i'm so glad it's finished. n___n came out fabulous shade, and the pitch change worked perfectly. fabulous job hon ~ as always! ;) LOVEYA.
oh my freaking god! this is so amazing, not only do I absolutely love what you have done with this song and the accompanying clips but I now want to go watch these movies lol ^_^
I haven't commented on this video even though I've watched it dozens of time's really great job. I love the Lyrics to the song you used but I could groove all day to just the music.
That was really awesome. I think it is amazing how you were able to make such a long a crossover with those two characters. And I can't wait for your update-video. It is always nice to see what you are working on. Happy Easter
I love this video soooo much! And those two characters look really good together :-D but I would love to see the crossover you wanted to make before those two ^^
Is it weird to say that this is the millionth time I've watched this video??? I swear, girl, you come up with the most AWESOME pairings ever. Somethings that totally work and that no one else has done (...well, that I know of, anyway XD) Complete, utter PERFECTION. I know, you're thinking 'is this girl ever gonna shut up?' or 'this is creepin me out, she's scaring me'. Well....tough.
