Yeah, Kami and Piccolo were originally from a same being (separated due to anime drama) and Kami made the Dragon Balls.

Kami and Demon King Piccolo were originally one person, if one dies the other dies. Since Kami made the balls, if he dies then the balls stop working. And they alluded to the fact that on the planet Namek (where kami/piccolo come from) there is another set of dragon balls

Yeah the senzu beans do heal all physical wounds but there’s a few exceptions to how it can heal which you’ll find out later on.

1 person split into Piccolo (the dark side and kami (light side). As a good guy, you can’t wish for immortality and power lol that’s only for “bad” guys. And yes Nappa really got killed by vegetable for being beat down so easily by goku lol

Kami and Piccolo were once the same being who created the Dragon Balls but split into Kami and King Piccolo and then Goku killed King Piccolo but he spit out an egg with Piccolo inside so Piccolo Jr. and Kami are linked and if one dies so does the other and the Dragon Balls turn into stone

If you like them scary, but not too scary, and you also like some strategy being involved, I recommend checking out a game called Fear & Hunger. It's getting a sequel soon and it has free demos for both the first and the second game, in case you'd like to check them out

Dragonballs are great but their power is limited based on the the power and rules set by the dragon's maker, in this case Kami. They could wish for immortality but you only get one wish, then the balls scatter around the planet and you got to wait at least a year before you can make another wish, that's assuming you can ever find them again, which is really hard unless you are Bulma who built a radar that tracks dragonballs.
