@ThroughNickysLens I have a doubt once we get a pnp can we apply for expresss entry if after we applied through non express pnp
@ThroughNickysLens
@ThroughNickysLens 8 месяцев назад
Hello@@AMJADKHANAJ. If I understand what you are asking correctly, you applied for PR through the non-express entry process. Is this so? As far as I am aware from my knowledge if the BC PNP program, if you did not apply for a nomination through the province using the entry option and you get a nomination, you can only submit a PR allocation through the PR portal for those who received a nomination from a province since you did not have use your express entry profile to link to your PNP nomination application. You are then only allowed to apply for PR through the PR portal and cannot apply for PR through the Express Entry route. They are separate processes, especially since you would have needed an ITA from IRCC to complete the PR application through express entry. If you did link your EE profile to your PNP nomination application, once you receive the nomination, the province will link your nomination to your EE profile and then you would automatically get the extra 600 points in your EE profile. Unfortunately, if you opted to use the non-express entry route for your PNP nomination and applied for PR under the Non-Express Entry route, you just have to wait for IRCC to process your application. This is from my personal knowledge, so I encourage you to seek immigration advice from a regulated immigration consultant to an immigration lawyer. You may also reach out to the province that nominated you to get a better understanding of the route you received the nomination under. Your nomination certificate or information the province provided you with once you were nominated may have specific details pertaining to your nomination and what you should do afterward to apply for PR.

Hi - Thank for detailed video , I have two questions is there any CLB level for non express entry PNP PR program (like we need CLB 7 language proficiency in express entry if we have PNP as well with different scores? 2. What is the minimum processing time you observed from your experience to get PR with non express procedure? Thanks for your help
@ThroughNickysLens
@ThroughNickysLens 7 месяцев назад
Hi. Thank you for your question. As far as I know, to use the Non-Express Entry Process for your PR application, you would have first needed to satisfy the eligibility requirements for another program such as a PNP and received an nomination from the province. Once the province nominates you (after meeting the program requirements including the language requirements). So, your focus would be finding out the CBL level for whichever program you applied to that is not through EE and then you use the non-EE PR process to apply for PR. If memory serves correct, some months ago a few persons might have received their PR within a year using the non-EE PR process. I have honestly stopped following the various groups so I don't know the exact processing time in reality, outside of the IRCC processing time they have outlined. You could consider joining this Facebook group and see what others are saying about their processing times: facebook.com/groups/1143397386029881 All the best in your journey!

does my spouse need ECA and if he does not have it, should I still add his post secondary education from outside Canada? I am the primary applicant. He does have 2 1year graduate certificate here in Canada.
@ThroughNickysLens
@ThroughNickysLens 26 дней назад
Hi Meei. Thanks for your question. If you add an ECA for your spouse's foreign education you should get points for that education. Since you mentioned that he has 2 1 year graduate certificates from Canada, if the Canadian graduate certificate is higher than the foreign qualifications then you maybe don't have to do the ECA. I would suggest that you still put his foreign post secondary education in the profile but answer no to the question that asks if an ECA was done for the qualification in question. I hope this makes sense.

Hi Nicky, I just recently got the nomination in alberta through AOS stream. the thing is I am confused on this part right here on additional form. When you search it down in all the additional form list, you could see a statutory declaration of common law and the checklist of it. Now my question is do I have to fill up this? my common law is with me here as a open work
@ThroughNickysLens
@ThroughNickysLens Месяц назад
Hello Ma Joanna 👋👋 thanks so much for you question. Congratulations 👏🎉👏🎉👏 to you on your nomination and all the best with your PR application process!!! You mentioned that your partner is here with you in Canada, from what I know, regardless of the fact that your partner is here with you in Canada, completing and submitting the form is a way to prove your common-law relationship to IRCC. So yes, I believe you need to fill and submit the statutory declaration of common law form as part of your application to IRCC since you would not have any other way of proving your relationship to IRCC. I would strongly encourage you to do further research on this or consider doing a consultation with a regulated immigration consultant or lawyer to be very sure. In my case for our Express Entry application, we had to submit our marriage certificate to prove our relationship although we already proved it numerous times before for our temporary resident applications. I truly hope that this will help to clarify things better for you.

Hi. I was nominated through the oinp to apply for PR. I am on a 6 months extension as my PGWP had expired Where do I go to find the forms for employer to fill to apply for the work permit ?
@ThroughNickysLens
@ThroughNickysLens Месяц назад
Hi Raymond. Thank you for your question. Can you please clarify if you already applied for PR? Didn't you get a work permit support letter with your OINP nomination? Also, I'm not sure of you will apply for an employer specific work permit or the work permit you can apply for is open. I don't know much about LMIAs but from what I'm seeing, you and your would need to determine if they need to apply for an LMIA for you are not and if they need one, they need to apply through the Employer portal for the LMIA. Afterwards, as far as I know and I could be wrong, you would complete the work permit application similar to how you did for your PGWP in your GCKey and just provide them with the necessary documents shown in the checklist the system will generate for you to upload. If it has to be a closed work permit, the employer may just need to give your documents related to the job offers so you can upload it. Please verify this information as I really don't know much about LMIAs and I don't want to misinform you. I would strongly suggest that you or your employer seek professional help from a regulated immigration lawyer or consultant. I'm really sorry I can't truly help and wish you all the best with the process.

Hi Eugene. I hope you are well. Thank you for your question. I know I am late in responding. I didn't use that portal personally to submit our PR application. From what I noticed, there is an option to upload various other documents so in the documents checklist you can choose a variety of documents you want to upload as part of the application. The key is to follow IRCC's naming guide in the portal as I pointed out in the video and be sure to name each document and I would say name them separately and upload them accordingly to ensure you have uploaded all the necessary documents according to what you need to include for your dependent(s). There is no designated space to upload documents for dependents. I hope you did manage to figure out and submit your application already. I truly wish you all the best with your application for PR. Congratulations on advance! 😊

Hi Lucy, You are very welcome. The timeline for each applicant is truly different as everyone's circumstances are very different as well as the volume of applications, the office and officer processing your application all play a part in determining the speed at which your application is processed. I say all that to say that unfortunately I am not sure anyone has an answer for your question. What I found helpful was to search for and join Facebook groups that relate to PR processing and in particular those related to the Non-Express Entry PR Portal. Being a part of those groups.ay be helpful as people tend to share their timelines and progress and you may find someone in the group that has a similar submission date as you or even close and their shared updates can help you gauge when to expect what. When you join the groups just read through and see what you can find about the general expectations and such. Here is a group you could join: facebook.com/share/g/nJm3V7DA8rDTtUNL/?mibextid=A7sQZp I truly wish you all the best in the process.

Hi Khanhha. You are very welcome. It's my pleasure. I did not personally submit an application using the Non-Express Entry PR portal as my family's application was through Express Entry. A have a friend that submitted her application recently using the PR portal for Non-Express Entry applications and she mentioned that education documents or proof of are not mandatory documents but she included hers just to be on the safe side. Based on what she did, you may go ahead and add those documents if you choose to. I would personally not necessarily submit anything for high school though. I hope that helps and wish you all the best with your application ☺️

Hi, Im wondering, so I'm applying for PR with PNP from PEI through international gradute stream and i was wondering if a language test is required or not, my TEER job is 2. thanks
@ThroughNickysLens
@ThroughNickysLens 7 месяцев назад
Hi Naser, thank you for your question. Language test results can benefit you in many ways. There might be some programs that do not require for persons to do a language test but you would have to check the program guidelines for the program you want to apply under. In my case, in the BC PNP international graduate stream and for many others, your language results contribute to your overall score so it made sense to do the language test. It was also necessary for me and my husband to do a language test because we applied using the express entry option which requires language test results. I hope this helps and all the best on your journey!

Thank you for the video, does non-EE still needs language proficiency test as one of the requirements?
@ThroughNickysLens
@ThroughNickysLens 4 месяца назад
Hello Jaoang. Thank you for your question. Non-EE or EE does not, as far as I know determine if you need to meet a language requirement or not. It is the requirements of the program or route that you intend to apply for a provincial nomination program say for example if you are intending to apply for/ register through the Skilled Worker category of the BC PNP program. That is the program that you need to look at to know if it requires you to do and have a particular score for a language test or not. Applying through EE or Non-Express e try after you get a nomination will also determine if you need language results or not so you need to then also check the documents checklist for whichever route you will have to apply for PR though after you get the nomination. For EE, at this time, you must have particular scores in a language exam be it English or French or both to be eligible to apply. The short answer is, do your research to see the requirements of whichever program to you wish to use to apply for PR to know what you need to have. I hope that explanation helps.

@ThroughNickysLens
@ThroughNickysLens 2 месяца назад
Hi Knowledge Wings. I personally did not use the Non-Express Entry process for our PR application we did Express Entry after obtaining the provincial nomination so I don't have a timeline to share. I also don't know anyone personally that used the Non-Express process and got PR either. The last time I did a check in IRCC's website on the timeline for processing through the portal you used it was saying 11 months and that was about 2 weeks ago. Your best best is to remain patient and try to find Facebook groups to join that are dedicated to people who used the Non-Express Entry process. They usually share their timelines there. What you need to keep in mind also is that each person's application is different so usually another person's timeline will not necessarily determine your own. I personally know that waiting can cause much anxiety but I do wish you all the best. Regards, Nicky.

Hey Nicky, Do we need medical exam report?
@ThroughNickysLens
@ThroughNickysLens 2 месяца назад
Hi NKMahil. Not that the checklist asks for. At least, not an upfront medical as upfront medicals are no longer required for PR applications. They would eventually request your medical report after they start processing your application and it has been determined that your application is complete. At least that's what I am aware of and the experience of others I know who used this route for PR.

Hello Bunny. Thank you for your question. I hope I understand your question well. In order to apply for a nomination from BC, as long as you are not applying through the international post-graduation program, you need to have a full-time job offer in BC with no end date to your job offer. You may check the following link to find out if you are available for any of the BC PNO programs based on your specific situation as I am unable to say: www.welcomebc.ca/Immigrate-to-B-C/Skills-Immigration I hope you can find the answer to your question at the link.

Thank you for your question. What I discussed in this video as far as I remember is how to use the Non-Express Entry portal to apply for permanent residency. One of the ways to be able to use the portal to apply for PR is to first get a nomination from a province. Wether or not your job working in the old and gas industry depends on what your job is and the previous and current years of work experience you have and other important factors. You should consider seeking the assistance and advice from a regulated immigration professional. All the best with your PR journey.

@ThroughNickysLens
@ThroughNickysLens 5 месяцев назад
@@Renny71111 Hi. The non-express entry route is one way that you can apply for PR. If you applied for a provincial nomination and you did not use the express entry option to apply for your nomination, then you would use the non-express entry system/platform to apply for PR after you get the nomination from he province. Non-Express entry and the provincial nomination program (PNP) are different. For PNP, some provinces have an Express Entry option and a non-express entry option so you use express entry or the non-express entry option to apply for PR after you get the nomination but it depends on what you applied for for a nomination from a province.

How to be nominated from a province. Thank you.
@ThroughNickysLens
@ThroughNickysLens 2 месяца назад
Hello Christian 👋 thanks so much for your question. In order to be nominated by a province you need to research and see what programs the province that you want to be nominated by offer and the requirements for the programs. Take note of which program you may qualify for and what you need to have in place to be qualified to apply/ register on the website of the province to show your interest to the province. Once you meet the requirements the province will do periodic draws and issue invitations to apply to selected applicants. Once you receive an ITA you apply for the nomination and wait for your application to be processed. Thereafter, you would take the next steps to apply for PR through Express Entry (having received an ITA through EE) or apply through the Non-Express Entry portal. I did a video on this and it will go live on my channel in a few minutes. Here is the link to IRCC's website on the PNP process to get a nomination: www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/provincial-nominees.html

Hello. Thank you for your question. So sorry for just responding. If your intention is for your dependents to come and join you in Canada, you must put accompanying. If you do not intend for them to become a permanent resident, you would put them as not accompanying. From the little information you provided, that's my thoughts but if possible, do some research or even try to see if in the application there is a way to click on a link and get more information on what the question is asking you for. All the best with your application.

Pls do we need proof of funds for non-express entry route
@ThroughNickysLens
@ThroughNickysLens 25 дней назад
Hi Abisoye, Thank you for your question. From what I know, after you have gotten a nomination from a province, proof of funds is not a mandatory document for submission through the Non-Express Entry PR Portal for your PR application. I suspect that once you proved your financial ability to the province by showing them that you have a job and your annual salary is a livable wage you are not mandated to show proof of funds for your PR application. Proof of funds will not appear as a required document in your documents checklist; however, personally, since proof of funds can be submitted as an additional document, I would recommend that you, or you can submit a bank statement or a letter from your bank indicating your average bank balance for the past 6 months. Doing that definitely will not hurt your application. I do know also that there is a section as part of the application that asks how much money you have to support yourself and your family and you must indicate an amount. What you can do is use the bank documents to supplement that figure you will indicate to IRCC since they want to be sure that you are able to support yourself, especially when you are applying for PR from outside of Canada. I wish you all the very best with your application. Regards, Nicky

Hi Rona. Thank you for your question. I did not personally use the PR portal to submit my PR application but I looked back on the profile I created for this video and I am seeing the following options related to a child: 1. Adopted child, 2. Child and 3. Step-Child. If you specific case, if the child is accompanying or not, you must know your relationship tp the minor, so if the child is your biological son or daughter, select child, if he/she is adopted then you select adopted child, if you are not the biological parent and the child is for your spouse then select step-child. I really don't know if that is your question but that is what I understood. I hope my response was helpful in some way.

Hi Pardeep. Thank you for your question and my apologies for the delayed response. I have never used the PR portal to submit an application so I am not very familiar with it. From my exploring of the portal I know there is an option to update employment letters in your application. In my view, it is always good to show any necessary proof or documents you have to prevent delays. If when you fill in the information in the application you see the employment letter as part of the list of documents you need to submit, I would. Personally, I would submit them anyway as it won't hurt as long as you have those work experiences and can get a letter from your previous and current employer. Do some research and see what you come up with. All the best and congratulations on your nomination.
