The science of the game is not to be taken seriously. It's all sort of nonsensical, often for comedic effect. There is satire and sarcasm everywhere in this story.

Norm is my favorite character by the end, not weird, just smarter than most. The needle Lucy used is a stimpak and it heals you, the series best decision was to lean into game logic so many unrealistic things happen. Maximus big bag is an inside joke about the game where you have an enormous inventory and you make your companion carry it. Yes the ghoul is the cowboy, and yes a mutant.

The vaults were already built. Construction began a couple years before the bombs dropped. People knew that nuclear war was probable because of continued hostility with China over control of Alaskan oil pipelines. There was massive global fuel shortages and there had already been one or two nuclear exchanges in the Middle East. However California was first to be hit in the Sino-American War, so they got the least amount of warning to get to their vaults.

they didnt HAVE to know that a bomb was for sure gonna be dropped the vaults are literally just reinforced bomb shelters for rich people. we didnt know what would happen during the cold war and thats why people invested in bomb shelters. same thing happened here

The Deadpool actress also starred in the 1977 series Roots. She was Kunta Kinte's daughter, Kizzy. The first in her family was born a slave. And Lucy's father, Kyle MacLachlan, was the hero of the 1980s film Dune. By the way, Kal El, have you ever been told that you look a bit like the late actor Royce D Applegate?

I guess everyone has to make do with “cousin fun” if that’s the only option to them until they marry someone from another vault…let’s face it horny teenagers will be horny teenagers😂🤷‍♂️ the baby doll’s leg was fired by the “ Junk Jet” you put anything in it and it’ll fire it out like a bullet.

the bombs dropped 2077. cultural aesthetics did not change since the 50s per the game. the show looks a bit more resent to me more. the late 60s early 70s. the transistor was not invented until just before the war explaining some of the tech and the size of the tech. the pip-boys are supper new tech that is why there are so powerful for there small size.

Calling me a Geordie is insane. Even if i was a Geordie i wouldn't claim to be one. I'm a Smoggie from Boro. But I lived in the UK until i was 18 and have spent the last 22 years in the US which is why it is all over the place.

Very true. But i have lived in the US longer than i lived in the UK at this point so the accent is muddled.
