Welcome to "Neverland" (the fandom name)! One of the main "problems" with this amazing group is that they are extremely prolific, and constantly evolving...their leader Soyeon (riding the scorpion) is indeed "fearless and ..here to take a win". They are in a small company and she writes and produces all their work. Many great suggestions here but I think you'd like "Tomboy" sonically and "Revenge" is a must

Soyeon said in an interview that it cost $820,000 to make and produce this video. Cube would only pay for half so the girls used $410,000 of their own money so the MV could be made.

Fun fact about (G)I-dle, their leader So Yeon is the only female k pop idle with complete creative control over all her groups songs. She also has song credits for most of their discography including this song.

The fact that Soyeon (first girl) can sing like that while being factually one of the best rappers in kpop is so impressive. Not only that but she also produces/writes/composes almost every gidle song and even makes the themes for the mvs. She even walks the girls through how they are meant to sing certain parts during the recording process. A true all rounder...

Their "Killing Voice" performance from about a year ago is a great way to learn their key discography, see their raw live vocals, and how much fun they have with their own music. They're self-produced btw. Welcome to Neverland. =)

(G)I-DLE are highly known for the fact that they are the ones who made everything.Starting from the debut to super lady.Soyeon produced every single song,then Minnie and Yuqi started.Their company failed to make them a debut album,Soyeon did it herself.Their debut mv was shoot near trash cans and in an abandoned factory having zero budget.

Super Lady is a good song but you should really react to their outher Songs! Beacause they're so goooooood! I would recommend: "Oh my god", "Lion", "Tomboy", "Nxde" and "Hwaa". But they also have so many other great Songs and B-sides. Love your reactions!!!

Their discography so very diverse and very good. And that's especially impressive since 90% of their songs are produced and written by their leader Soyeon, and the other 10% is produced and written by Minnie and Yuqi (2 other members). NXDE, Tomboy and Queencard are must sees.

Don't feel bad. Idle has consistently flow under the radar until recently. A lot of people are going to recommend songs, but if you want to see the true talent of this group and genius of Soyeon as a producer, you should check out the bts video of them producing "Super Lady." Short version, they do it all themselves. One German producer/reactor was stunned. He said he'd never seen a group like this in the studio. No agency bosses telling them how to perform, just Soyeon and the members along with one woman running the sound board. Soyeon has the entire song in her head, not only the notes and beats, but the very inflections of the words. On the flip side, the members are so in sync with her that she'll tell them to bend this note or tighten their throats for a note or sing a line like she's a "bad girl" and the members know exactly what she means and deliver it usually within one or two tries. I've got to tell you. I've listened and loved music all my life (I got into Kpop through IU and Blackpink) and have never seen a group like Idle. Even in the crowded, hypertalented world of Kpop, there's no one like them. You have an amazing musical journey ahead and I look forward to sharing your journey...😊

Probably because one of their vocalists is American and the other one went to school in New Zealand. The American singer from this band was featured in the song Snooze by Agust D.

I'm not a '"girl group" fan but (G)Idle isn't a girl group. Years ago I saw their "Lion" music video and I've been a fan ever since. As a group, they write their own songs, produce and come up with their own concepts for music videos. They push to the edge of what a Kpop music video should look like and then push it over the edge. Fun fact: Soyeon thinks Super Lady is not that good of a song.....and knowing the rest of their discography I must say I agree, even though Super Lady still rangs in my top 20 somewhere To get a good teaser of what they are doing listen to their Dingo Killing voice, which gives a good overview of how versatile they are. I got to know these QUEENS thanks to my daughter and they are my favorite GG! Yuqi is my bias but they are all amazing..especially Soyeon what this woman does for the group is unbelievable! They deserve so much more than what they have, i mean on the charts and k-media..they did a concert (they where on a worldtour) last September here in Belgium and in april last month they where here for MusicBank in Antwerp in 'Het Sportpaleis' my daughter went to the both their concert and MusicBank..unfortunately Yuki wasn't present because of her own shedule. She releasd her solo and i definitely would like it if you would give your reaction to her new Album, it's called 'Freak' the MV is wooowww!
