So here is the need to know: This video is in fact a music video for a virtual K-pop group known as K/DA. The video was produced by riot games, the developer for league of legends, to promote the new skins for their corresponding champions in game. There are four members of the group, each sang by a real musician/artist. Ahri, the blonde nine-tailed fox is the leader of the group. In her first scene in the laundromat, there is a shot of her washing her old pop star clothes, which references her first pop star skin in game, and that she has moved on. She is voiced by Miyeon from the k-pop group (G)I-DLE Akali, the hip hop rapper of the group, is a fighter/assassin that has high mobility in game. She can jump around a lot and even has a move called twilight shroud where she goes invisible while in it. She throws down her spray paint can in one of the shots and it explodes into the shroud. Her character is voiced by Soyeon, also of the k-pop group (G)I-DLE. Evelynn is the girl with the pink sunglasses and fast cars. She is a diva who craves all the attention, but doesn’t actually want the spotlight. She prefers to be off-center, to the side, or lurking in the shadows. Her character is an invisible assassin who lures and seduces her victims in close right before she brutally murders them. She is voiced by Madison Beer, an American singer. Kai’Sa is the last of the group. You can see her firing off her cannons right before the drop coming out of the bridge part where she is dancing to the beat of the drums in Evelynn’s taillights. She is group’s choreographer and main dancer. Her character is voiced by Jaira Burns, also an American singer/songwriter. Riot Games also used the real singers from the group in a live performance at the opening ceremony for the League of Legends World Championship finals. They were joined on stage by the virtual pop star counterparts using Augmented Reality. A lot of fans and music industry experts have been hypothesizing that this may be the way of future concerts. Check out the video here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-p9oDlvOV3qs.html Riot Games also has done this sort of endeavor in the past using in game characters to form a metal band called Pentakill. Pentakill is made of 5 in game characters and there have been 2 full length metal albums recorded and produced by Riot Games. They also shot and released another animated music video for the single, Mortal Reminder, off their second album, Grasp of the Undying. It is a full interview of each member.
This. This is the good commenting that the internet was created to inspire. I'm gonna find a way of posting your comment to all of the other react videos of POP/STARS, where they have no clue who these champs are. JINX FTW!
the leader of the group is Kai´sa.. the name of the group K/DA has 2 meanings: K/D/A: KIlls/Deaths/Assist- that is the score ingame and K/DA: Kai´Sa´s Dancers Assassins the artistic name
Emi L0L I have never heard or read that last part lol. Do you have a link for that? I’m guessing you’re just a kai’sa fan given the bio details ahri as the leader.
I never understand why people get caught up in the fact that the band is fictional, real people wrote the music and sung the song and the song sounds good! Compliment the artists and appreciate the art!
characters included just so y'all know: K/DA Ahri (fox) K/DA Evelynn (Red glasses girl K/DA Kai'Sa (Floating things about shoulders girl) K/DA Akali (Rapper girl with spray-ain't) Their all skins for the original character i believe, thats what i know of Ahri and Evelynn, i think one of my friends has a friend that has Akali. My friend has Evelynn K/DA
That game you were talking about about is called "Project Diva" amd the "band" you've mentioned is called "Vocaloids", A.I with voices who sings people's lyrics. I love project diva.
Vocaloid isn't A.I. It's a speech generated software. Stephen Hawking used speech generated software to talk before he died, Vocaloid is the first speech generated software for singing.
Hi guys, P L E A S E react to K/DA POP STARS and BTS MIC DROP - mashup. This mashup is FREAKING AMAZING. But if you didn’t watch Bts’s Mic drop mv, first of all check the mv and then mashup. Thanks for attention 😊😊
K/DA stands for Kill Deaths Assists, however, in the league of legends community they named it Kai'sa's Dancing Assassins, (Kai'sa is one of the characters in the video, the rest of the characters were all technically assassins)
This was actually performed live at the world League of Legends championships. That's worth a reaction all in itself. As I still can't figure out how the hell they did it lol. Rise & As we Fall are also worth checking out. R.I.O.T. Games are definitely not your typical game company here. :b
I have found this sing on spotify and I have listened to it over and over and over. I have also seen the music video more than 10 times. But you gotta watch the live performance.
You are aware that the virtual "people" are the band. There are vocalists and animators but those people aren't the band. The characters in the virtual reality are the actual band
Well (G)I-DLE is a real K-Pop group, so yeah.... they are real people. You should check out the group. Two of the members from (G)I-DLE are singing in this music video.
You know we are told alpacas and llamas are supposed to be mortal enemies, but I think our love for fuzzy creatures I stronger than hate! Thanks for finding us and checking us out! You're not so problematic haha
You guys need to react to League of Legends "Rise" if you haven't already. The music video is lit as f***. Featung Bobby & IKON along with clips from the animated short. Which is sick as hell. Love your reactions here though. :b
KDA = Kill/Death/Assist Meaning you add kills and assists then devide by deaths and get a number... E.g. 6/2/4 gives a KDA of 5.0 Anything below 2.0 go back and play bots.
Love the song and music video, but my feelings are forever tainted now by the fact that the people who animated this piece of art were treated so poorly by Riot. Especially the woman who designed and animated my main girl Akali edit: The studio has done animation for Gorillaz too!
Since you saw this you should definitely react to RISE (ft. The Glitch Mob, Mako, and The Word Alive) | Worlds 2018 - League of Legends ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-fB8TyLTD7EE.html It's not KPOP but it's related to this
Oh boy.. uh.. so his name is "Brendin".. so it's actually "Brendin is right".. I don't know if this makes it more or less awkward.. but we love ya for watching regardless. -G
No it is not where are you getting your info?? The lead animator in charge if this vid told us specifically that its 100 percent animated absolutely no motion capture was used.
You should check out other league videos you might like them.. like theres 2 music videos that i enjoy personally called : Varus - as we fall and then another music video called : Get jinxed
"This song's gonna be on repeat for me" I literally don't play LoL and actually kinda hate it, but I've already memorized all the choreo and play it at least 5 times a day because it won't get out of my head! I want to do a dance cover so badly.
React to (G) I-DLE! The leader Soyeon was the girl rapping with the spray paint and their main vocal Miyeon was the blonde with the tails! They also won rookie group this year!
"It's like Gorillaz" FINALLY! My god, seen so many people not understand the concept of this video because it's animated, and I'm like how you can not understand it? It's not like is the only animated music video out there or even the only video using animated characters as alter-egos, or you gonna say to me that you NEVER heard of Gorillaz??
There's actually a real virtual idol out there if you want to know. It's called Vocaloid with the most popular one is Hatsune Miku. And that my friend is not an alter-ego of someone with her voice modeled from Japanese voice actress and processed to have her own sound using the Vocaloid voicebank software.
Honestly, I've heard of both Gorillaz and vocaloid artists, and never really thought to connect the two until now. Gorillaz is a better one, though, since I'm pretty sure vocaloid artists are 100% computer generated, whereas Gorillaz is basically a stage name/image/presence for the band.
