Mr. Miyagi this is just theory, but in the case of Dark Star Rhaast it has been show that the dark star can traverse into different universes like Odyessy. I’m pretty sure Zoe was corrupted by the Dark Star and thats why shes trying to destroy the star guardians, the biggest threat to the dark star in the star guardian universe. Judging by Janna’s story in the star guardian story 2 i dont think zoe would kill star guardians because they said for every death of a star guardian comes a new one.

Fun Fact: Zoe made Xayah and Rakan like kinda "evil" and tries to do the same thing to neeko. But Rakan can like "heal" the darkness and kinda tries to save Xayah

Withe Wolf I don’t think it is that, Infact you can see the interaction between him and xayah and how apon ahri’s light shining threw a crack saved Neeko from the darkness. So I think Rakan was just exposing Xayah to his light but since they are ‘corrupted’ they don’t have much of that light left. This results in Rakan being susceptible to the darkness he saved her from.

Yeah Rakan knows that Zoe is using them but he absorbs the "dark energy" from Xayah as long as he can. In the recall he even goes fully corrupted, so Xayah can be a Star Guardian again. Man i love my Main-Champ

So interesting thing about the question, "Is that canon?" Skins are being marketed now as essentially "alternate universe" versions of the character, a bit like DC and Marvel have multiple versions of Batman or Spiderman respectively. So even though they don't follow the main Runeterra story line, they are technically canon. Side note: Sometimes several skin-lines share a universe. The Cosmic, Dark-Star and Odyssey skin lines all exist in the same narrative universe; as do the PROJECT: and Program skins.

Listen to the lyrics they are talking about Neekos story, she was alone for so long, her squad was lost, her best friends Rakan and Xayah were corrupted and she was forced to fight her friends, you could say family. Ahri was also part of the squad.. you can see how happy Neeko is when Ahri finaly finds her after years... Nekko had so sad life... she lost all .... but at the end that smile on her face when she sees Ahri again... it makes me cry... listen to the lyrics and u will connect with Neeko

She asked "Is that canon?". The skins are a bunch of alternate universes basically. Some skin lines even share unvirses. Riot came out with a in game client function where you can look at the skin lores now to. Stuff like Creator Vikktor is part of the battlecast skin line universe. In this universe Vikktor is taking over the world and has made robots to help take over humanity. These are skins like battlecast Urgot and battlecast Vel'koz. Then there is another skin line which shares the universe. This skin line is Resistance skin line, with skins like Resistance Caitlyn. Resistance Caitlyn has killed tons of the robots, and regrets letting Vikktor grow so powerful. If you head to the league client you can look at the lore of the skin lines, and even some skins have individual lore for each champion.

For anyone who hasn’t noticed, the Star Guardian line is a *MIX* of Sailor Moon and Puella Magi Magicka Madoka. If you pay attention to the effects and cinematics, there’s subtle hints. Example: Ahri holding the 3 gems and Xayah mentioning being trapped inside upon respawning. This mirrors Puella Magi Magicka Madoka’s soul gems, and soul gems can be corrupted, turning the magical girl into a witch. In this cinematic, we can see both Neeko and Xayah being corrupted by darkness in a similar way. Rakan *absorbs* Xayah’s darkness (we can see him with it right after) which mirrors one of the realities where Madoka absorbs the darkness from Homura’s soul gem to save her from turning into a witch. :)

I had some idea on the characters’ lores because my sister used to play the game (I haven’t been able to catch up on lores since she stopped though). I knew from the start that Rakan and Xayah are literal love birds and Rakan is like a support type gameplay wise or smth. I watched the Star Guardian music video because I’m a MASSIVE, and I mean MASSIVE Hiroyuki Sawano fan (the composer of the song) and I was more than happy to see Rakah (Rayah? RaXa?) on it. The last few seconds of the video also made me realize that they draw allusion to the Jian birds from Chinese myth and that’s why their hairstyles tend to cover one of their eyes, and they only have one wing each. I say totally good sh+. Go release Light and Shadow in one of the singles/albums dammit Sawano, dammit Aniplex. Light and Shadow strongly reminds me of ΛSHES ~RETURNS~.

Commenting to enter the giveaway, it's my first time finding this channel too! What caught my attention was really the cinematic you guys chose to react to. Literally all my favorite champions are within this cinematic. I too am a neeko main and I busted my ASS to get tokens from events to get enough for 100 prestige points. I dont care how long it took, I was beyond happy that I had finally gotten my main champ skin. Other than neeko I am just absolutely obsessed with Rakan and Xayah's lore and how they came to be. My friends understand how much I love them so much that they kindly offer me their skins so I can play with my significant other. I know, how cringey, playing duo as rakan and xayah with your S/O LMAO. I don't mind really. I think it's just cute and I really only play league to have fun. Anyways, you got a new follower out of the thousands you will gather later in the future. Neeko mains stay and support eachother!

I love Neeko!!! She is not someone to be underestimated by her appearance! After learning more about her, I'm glad I got her as a result from HeyWise "Which League of Legends Champion Are You?" When disguising herself as another champion, she can easily feel their emotional states and perform their capabilities without getting caught!!!
