For anyone who didnt understand: The sign of Jonah was that he was alive all that time during the whale swallowing him and spitting him out when everyone thought he was dead. Jesus was saying the sign of himself is no more than the sign of Jonah for example jesus was also alive for 3 days and 3 nights Jonah was also alive for 3 days and 3 nights. Everyone thought they were both dead but they were not, that was the sign. If jesus died then Jonah should have also died but he did not, otherwise the statement jesus said would not be true.
