Enjoyed your wip parade. Good to see other stitchers who enjoy Aida and DMC. I love 18 countaida using one thread of floss and I enjoy dyeing my white Aida into different shades that i use for my stitching. Hope you enjoy a wonderful 2024.

I have never seen so many WIPS in my life! That would drive me nuts as I’m a monogamous stitcher but I loved seeing all the beautiful patterns and saw several I now want to get. Happy stitching and thank you for a fun video. 😍

I've just finished watching all of your videos and I really enjoyed spending some time cross stitching or doing my crafty things while watching you. On the snow, I always use one white thread and one shines thread, helps to see the snow show up

Great video. I like that you stitch on aida. I just bought the shine on book. I am doing the log cabin block as an ornament and then decide if i want to do all the sampler. Have fun on your stitching.

Yeaaaaa. Same here. Hooray for the Aida club. Aida will always be my fabric of choice. I have challenged myself with small projects on linen and evenweave,but nothing higher than 28ct. I no longer do tape edges. I zigzag the edges. As Aida stitchers we complete more projects and save money on fabrics. Lol. But overall no matter our choice, we stitch what makes us happy and we are all sisters in stitches. Loved it all. Definitely will be tuning back in to your channel.

I loved seeing all of your projects. You have so many beautiful things started. I am meticulous about removing scissors, needle minders, and other sewing supplies when a project is put back in the WIP pile. Now I'm not so sure that's a good idea. I just LOVED watching Bonnie rediscover all of her misplaced items that had been stranded in WIP bags. It's part of the fun of revising WIPS that I am for sure missing out on. Happy stitching!!

I see that you use painters tape to keep your fabric from fraying, I dab a line of Aline’s glue along the edge then run my finger down it. That way you don’t have to deal with taking off part of your fabric when you take off the tape. I get a smaller border allowance that way so I can get more out of a piece of fabric. Another thing I do is stitch 1 over 1 on 25 or 28 count with 1 thread when the stitch count of the project is really high.

Loved this video! So fun watching your WIP parade! I’m a monogamous stitcher, I’ve tried but just can’t start something new until my current stitch is done 🤷🏼. I do have a question: when I use the primitive gatherings spray, it’s splotchy. Any suggestions? Thanks!

You do what works for you! That is always our motto! I get it! Hmm, maybe clean out your sprayer and that might help?? Or dilute it a bit, that also might help.

I have a question about the Primitive Gathering Instant Antique spray: is it a permanent spray or will it wash out? What has been your experience? When I’m done with a project, I wash the fabric to remove any dirt that has gotten on it, but I wouldn’t want to wash out the antiquing. Thanks!

Hmm, I have not tried washing it, but I do know that if it is too dark I can rinse it a bit and a bit comes out. It is more like a stain than a dye. I feel like if you heat set it, that would help. Maybe do a test piece? I might have to experiment.
