Fr, I have this alternate start mod and I started in the dwemer dungeon underneath markarth as a wizard so I had to find a lockpick to get out then I walked to Helgan and did the main quest and it was a lot of fun

This is true. Fun to watch it like that and fun for him to experience things on his own (even mistakes, which create amazing stories afterwards).

he irked me in a way that i havent been irked in a long time, as a skyrim veteran with easily a couple of thousand hours on the game across multiple consoles since launch day i would never spoil someones first skyrim playthrough or tell then him what to do like that zebrix/commander muppet did😡

Still have my Xbox 360 and the Skyrim copy for it, I’m replaying that version now for gamerscore and nostalgia, still runs amazing if you ask me. Actually less frame drops than the Xbox One version with my mods on surpirsingly, Riften is also playable and not a slideshow 24/7 😅

Omg yeh soo true, I wish I could play it again for the first time, the first two weeks were some of the happiest I ever felt in life. After the two weeks though for some reason the immersion kinda fell apart lol.

I played Skyrim for the first time a week ago, i am so pleasantly surprised by the game and convinced me to get the dlc s as soon as I can

You genuinely have to roleplay. The encumberment is annoying, so you have to pick up stuff your character would instead of looting everything.

"iNeed" I think is the best needs mod given that it's pretty lightweight and just introduces the needs part

​@@Isaac-uu9jxmy tip for you is to make up a story for your character like who they are and what they want and play according to how you like. That's how I had the most fun. Also don't fast travel everywhere unless you're low on irl time

Yeah, take half damage and deal double damage for any amount of time is a game changer in any fighy

I like the kahjit they are great at stealing shit , lock picking and sneaking which is good to build your money up at the beginning and they do look really cool 😂
