Non-Solicitation vs. Noncompete Agreements: Important Differences & When to Use 

Have you ever experienced any legal issues or disputes related to non-solicitation or non-compete agreements? How did you handle them?

What is solicitation? This word has so many different meanings depending on what state you live in. Also, are independent contractors subject to these clauses? I would think they are violations of the business commerce code, an attempt by the contractor to hinder trade, especially if they are overly restrictive or broad.
