Wow thats crazy, can I ask what the set up is? clip on bobber, then some kind of weight, then hook ? how do you stop your bobber from floating right back to shore in the current ? Awesome video dude you need a smoker : )
They don't always sink the bobber when they bite. A lot of times the bobber will just twitch or start moving in a strange direction and I'll set the hook. I think I was using #8 hooks. Just cheap Eagle Claw hooks.
@@shxvk9298 oh.. I was just using a bobber with a spring clip on it. Like this one www.cabelas.ca/product/31682/thill-mc-bubbl-gum-pencil-spring-bobber
@@JJTFishing fair, I'm just getting into going after cats / carp when I can't get out for walleye for whatever reason. Are there any places in the city you'd recommend tassing a line out for a couple hours?
@@Scottymcscrotum All the rivers and creek has really fast current and the water is really high. Would have to go with some bottom rigs with lots of lead or float fishing like him.
@@tomlinetsky1174 I'm gonna try hitting some spots around Osbourne tomorrow, I've got a bunch of goldeye from I've fishing, try and hit some carp or cats with 3-4 ounces see if that works
