NONARY GAME? - The Council of Voices - Episode 5 

Let the game begin... Man, it feels so good to finally have this made. I sunk so many hours into working on this...but I'm really happy with how it came out. I feel like this marks the beginning of an evolution for the Council of Voices, and it makes me excited about its future. I sincerely hope you all enjoy it!

Hmm... Nico in Dangan Ronpa: Why are all the big, burly characters always have to die. Nico in CoV Nonary Game: Kills off big, burly guy character first. Now, I do not mean it is hypocritical. I find it ironic and funny.

*Uses Chiaki's execution theme in the game where Chiaki keeps failing until she uses a cheat code* NICO WTF.

That moment with Shuichi had me rolling for 5 mins straight. “WAIT YOUR TURN KAITO!”

That moment when you realise that this is just one guy talking to himself in many different weird voices. This premise shouldn't really result in anything this glorious, but it does. That's Nico for ya.

I don't have anything especially clever to comment, but I just want to say _THANK YOU_ to Nico. Most other Let's Players would never even think to make a series like this and could easily make a living on just posting LPs. But Nico decides to go above and beyond that by making this amazing, fantastic, and spectacular series. Even with making these, Nico could decide to just make them into 4 minute long quick sketches, but no, instead we get an amazing video that is _40 FREAKING MINUTES LONG!!!!!!!!_ I know I'm just rambling right now, but I just wanted to express my gratitude to Nico for all of the amazing effort he puts into his videos. He's definitely my favorite youtuber, and I can't wait to continue watching his videos for many more years...

AUTOPSY REPORT SPOILERS FOR THIS VIDEO & DR3 Seven's Death: What Happened: Joshua found Seven dead in the Pantry of the Blue Room. There was a knife in his back and his skin had turned a purple colour. Seven's skin almost certainly turned purple due to his bracelet poisoning him. Thus providing two possible causes of death. Poison or being stabbed. However because the bracelet comes off if the wearer's heartbeat reaches 0 bpm, it is impossible for the knife to be the cause of death. Due to the functions of the bracelet, either the bracelet was tampered with or Seven committed his forbidden action. It is likely that Seven did not tamper with his bracelet intentionally as he knows how Nonary Games work, so if the bracelet was tampered with, it was either an accident or the result of a struggle with someone else. It is far more likely that Seven committed his forbidden action, which we cannot confirm the nature of but we can speculate. Due to Seven not punching Nagito Komaeda when normally one would expect that he would, his forbidden action could be punching/hurting someone similar to Juzo Sakakura's. It is also possible that his forbidden action could also be something similar to Aoi Asahina's where getting punched or hurt in anyway is forbidden, thus the stab wound could have caused the bracelet to activate. With regards to the knife, another and (in my opinion) more likely scenario is that the knife was stabbed into the already dead Seven. Before we go ahead, I am assuming the possible existence of a secret passageway that bypasses the doors rule of 3. Suspect List Possible: - Third Party/Zero: Never rule this out. - Togami: This is the most likely suspect as of now. We have seen him both inspect the knife and when Joshua takes to him in the Kitchen, the knife was missing. There are two possibilities in my mind when it comes to his actions: He could have murdered Seven in order to secure the bracelet and to "ensure his survival." Or he could have put the knife into an already dead Seven in order to ensure his survival. If he hides a keycard only he knows the location to, he can use that knowledge to keep himself alive. - Morishige: Hidden Pathway. - Seven: Some sort of accident. Unlikely: - Joshua: Alibi, but could have snuck Togami. - Monokuma: Hidden Pathway, yet alibi. - Donald: Hidden Pathway, yet alibi. Impossible: - Chiaki: Alibi - Mayuri: Alibi - Komaeda: Alibi My Opinion: I do not think Togami is the killer. I think he instead did something similar to what he did to Chihiro Fujisaki by stabbing Seven's Back and someone else caused his forbidden action.

I swear to God, if Zero ends up just being Nico... But seriously, this is awesome. How does Nico not have more subs by now? He deserves 500K *at the very least* .

It's times like these when NicoB ascends from god-tier LP'er to full-on original content creator. My hope is that more and more people will come to realize and appreciate his genius.

Hearing Mayushi talk about Okabe throwing takoyaki at people just makes me imagine Majima getting takoyaki thown at him, then breaking down crying because it reminds him of Makoto. Even Okabe is weirded out by this random dude with an eyepatch curled up on the street and sobbing.

I'm usually the type of guy who avoids theories whenever possible, as I like to get surprised, but I couldn't help but think about the possible foreshadowing going on, I can already guess where this takes place, based on Joshua's dialogue, as well as how the voices got captured, The Neo World Program, Joshua states that the world they're in isn't part of the Real Ground, which basically means that it either lies in a higher plane of existence , or is a simulation, I say it's a simulation because of the fact that Zero installed a camera system and computer in the council, which shows that they have great skill when it comes to computing, This would also allow those outside the Nonary game to be relevant, as there aren't any character's left in the real world that can cross dimensions,

These Council of Voices episodes get better and better as they go along, and this is easily the best one yet; I think you've really grown as a writer over time. And as a supplement to my compliments WHY DID YOU HAVE TO LEAVE US ON THAT CLIFFHANGER, MAN?!

Another thing. The council of voices should have it's own opening and ending themes. That'll be even better.

Speculation:Joshua is the traitor. and the reason hes Jesus powers are "Gone" is because he's not really Joshua, it's Kokichi in disguise! It's all a lie!!!

I just wanted to say that it is Really cool how Nico used some of the lines of Zero Escape to make it more authentic. Togami seems also more like bis Danganronpa self which makes me think Nico did some research on his character. So I really like the writing Nico did and the video editing is also great. I'm excited how this turns out. Maybe some of my theories are correct.

The only characters to check their forbidden actions after Zero told them how to do so were Komaeda, Donald, Chiaki, and Togami. Assuming that detail isn’t there just because Nico got lazy, it’s possible the first victim (not naming names in case people reading this haven’t finished watching the video) wasn’t killed, but instead died from their forbidden action and was stabbed post-mortem to obscure the cause of death. Granted, I’m not sure why anyone would do that, but it’s definitely a possibility.

I see a lot of speculation coming out for this. At this point I'm thinking Donald or Morishige are accomplices. Monokuma and Joshua seemed to be cleared from planning any of this.

So according to Council of Voices lore, Shuichi is in some form of relationship with Kaede and Kaito? I can get behind that. EDIT: Also, personally I think Nico should make his own Danganronpa/Zero Escape inspired game to be honest, playing a game like that from Nico should be really fun. It's really nice to see an LP'r do a series like this, especially with this detail. Good job Nico, you've done an amazing job.

Monokuma: I'M GONNA SHOVE MY PAWS RIGHT UP HIS- Donald: But we don't know where he is... I laughed out loud omg This is truly a masterpiece, Nico... I can see all the love and time you put into it. I enjoyed every minute of it!!! I dont even know half of these characters (I only really know the characters from Ace Attorney and Danganronpa), but watching their Nico-fied personalities come out in this series really makes me wanna watch all your Let's Plays on them, hahahaha. Phenomenal job, man!

Theory: Byakuya definitely did not kill him, but will be blamed for it, since they were fighting it would seem more likely, but I feel his bracelet is what killed him his "forbidden action" was, he was not allowed to eat or drink. Plus the story never mentioned that all of the characters checked they're bracelet before anything else or if the poison injected in them would be visible to the eye when they were poisoned. Second, I feel like Byakuya does actually have a lead as to that mysterious door, in that door might be the mastermind (highly doubt it) or the fifth card key. The code to get in that door though is likely to be in every area. When I say every area I mean that there is a part or parts to a code to punch in the freezer in each area. The problem is, is that would everybody work together to give codes and what would the order be once they get the codes, meaning if there is a code in each area, what would order would each piece of the code be in to get the complete code to put in the code dial? That's my question to my theory. Gosh, I love the series so far Nico keep it up! I'll always be a picky penguin and thank you for reading my theory, have a great day! :)

*THEORY TIME!* Who... is Zero? My bet is... That it is us, the Picky Penguins! First, we know that Zero's... letter is K. That clearly isn't a P. But... In the reverse alphabet, K is the 11th letter, where P is the 11th in normal alphabet order. Second - we all seem to be viewing this from surveillance camera screens. Suspicious... Unless we are Zero! We have knowledge of things happening *outside* of the arena, but in a place where there still is a came. And let's be honest... Who else would desire to see our favourite voices go against each other more than us??

My predictions. Let's see who I got right. 1. Komaeda (Yes) 2. Seven (Yes) 3. Morishige (Yes) 4. Phoenix Wright (No) 5. Togami (Yes) 6. Joshua (Yes) 7. Mayuri (Yes) 8. Maya/Donald (Yes) 9. Someone new, likely either Apollo or Shuichi (No) Well, 7/9 is still pretty good.

I really enjoyed this episode can't wait for the next part and I honestly thought Donald's forbidden action would be not saying "I GOT IT!"

Wait... Is the mastermind supposed to be Korekiyo? As we know, the guy who installed the camera is pretty androgynous and has a hat that tends to cover the person's features. Korekiyo does indeed have a hat, and is definitely androgynous given his body type and what's Beneath the Mask (P5 reference? no? Okay, moving on) The clue that's given to us at the start is this person named "K"... WELL I WONDER WHOSE NAME BEGINS WITH "K"? But that's just my lil theory, I just happen to love Kiyo and I thought it would be great if he had a little part in this killing game :D

Okay, so being the big Zero Escape nerd I am, I wrote down all the information I gathered during this 39 minute video. Here is everything I have collected so far/my thoughts (in exact words as written down): Man in the jail cell: "I'd ever see another voice again" - is/was a voice in the council? Is considered a voice by fans but isn't on the council? "Isolated from the rest of the world" - solitary, not real? "I'm no one significant. At least anymore." - once important character, someone who showed up in first game of series but not in next game? Past voice on council? Old series Nico played? Someone who knew a voice in their game? "You may call me...'K'" - First/last name includes K? K is the eleventh letter in the alphabet, 20th in base 20+ Ace Attorney styled text boxes. Odd choice as DR ones would have been easier to work with. Could be Ace Attorney character/villain? Dahlia, Kristoph, Von Karma come to mind. _______ Emphasis on "Always" (Seven) and "Fire" (Monokuma). Character relates to these words? Appears to be 3rd party, could be someone who is getting help from inside or member who didn't speak during gasing/before gasing Pre-recorded (could be lying) "My nonary game" No past Zero, doesn't mean it isn't a Zero Escape character though. Keycard Info: 5 keycards, 4 sectors, one per sector. Last one takes "extra thought". Cards are digital. You can have more than one keycard in your bracelet. Can leave w/o actually getting a keycard. Bracelet Info: Detect heart rate. Only comes off upon death. Can't be forced off. Needles inject poison, body slowly turns purple. Two minutes until death. Sector Doors Info: 3 people max per area (1 or 2 can go in a door). To open the door, someone has to leave (you can leave anytime). If you die in the room, the door will open. Forbidden Actions: Komaeda: TBA Togami: TBA Chiaki: TBA Seven: Room he died in had signs off struggle. Could relate to fighting someone, perhaps to eating or drinking. Monokuma: TBA Donald: Can't use magic Joshua: Relates to painting. Mind zap when trying to touch it. Could be related to touching the color black, paint, or paintings/wall decor. Joshua can't use powers (world isn't RG or UG, shouldn't exist. Fake world?) Green: Monokuma, Donald Blue: Togami, Joshua, Seven (Card found by Seven) Yellow: Chiaki, Mayuri, Komaeda (Card found by Chiaki) Red: None Lobby: Morishige (No alibi for anything, not with anyone) Black covered painting has a bit of white underneath, all that's visible for actual picture. Joshua says "Not now, at least" after trying and failing to touch it. Weird mind warp thing, similar effect to emphasized words at beginning. Togami finds knife, puts it back. "Take your eyes off of the conspicuous and focus on the ambiguous. Even the mundane can hold truth of its own. Hiding in plain sight." In green room by Zero. Zero is hiding in plain sight? Fifth key card? Zero is nearby/one of them? The system is inherently broken. Sometimes it becomes necessary to corrupt it, even if it means breaking it further, because that is the kind of world you and I live in." In yellow room by Zero. A corrupt world. Digital, like DR2 OR DRV3? Seven is dead! Knife in back, seemingly too obvious cause of death. Skin is purple, two holes in wrist, bracelet is missing. Was poisoned, did Forbidden action. Whoever took his bracelet now has the green room key card. Only Togami knew that he had the key card, although Zero technically did too. Did Joshua or togami kill Seven? Togami appears too obvious of an answer, but Zero talked about answers being hidden in plain sight. Joshua would have had to enter the same room as Togami to get to the pantry. Joshua could have left the room and someone else could have gone in, possibly Morishige. Togami couldn't have left because he would have had to pass Joshua. Map indicates that the door that Togami examined DOES have something behind it. Perhaps hiding fifth key card or information on this "corrupt world". Could be hiding zero or info relating to zero. (Will add more as I learn info)
