That was the truth aswell... I never have seen Rigondeaux run like that from part of the pro fights he's had, it was just pathetic the guy fought scared and never wanted to engage why get into a fighting sport if you don't want to fight and provide entertainment, he's boring straight up he will never reach PPV status I'll gladly be watching and paying for UFC way before I ever touch a Rigondeaux fight again..
Gamboa would have gotten rob by the thieves at top rank. Abril destroyed rios with his technique and boxing IQ and the judges saw it differently(how odd dont you think) The judges would have done the same to gamboa. Now that gamboa is with a different promoter, you best bet arum wont make a rios vs gamboa.
It's funny how you criticize rigo when most of u were expecting him to "run"(which he didn't), yet you miss the fact that the great ko puncher donaire did nothing(as most of u were expecting). If u check the stats of the fight you'll see that rigo actually threw more punches than donaire.
Rigondeaux, is no Vazquez brother, Rigo wont be sorry for you, he is going to kill you in the ring. Cubans have always been the best amateurs in history, and now the are becoming the best pro, like you or not, thats how it is
This guy is a clown he is everything that is wrong with boxing... Pick and choose your fights then blame managers for not making fights happen.. He knows and the world knows he is scared of rigo because Rigo will DESTROY him.. all that shoe shinning he does in the ring will have no effect on Rigo.. SMH..
I'd rather he did he's terrible... He should go back to the Olympics I'll appreciate boxing like that there where I'm not partly paying for it, I pay for the sports channels I don't want to feel like I'm in part paying in someway for that crap, least he put me to sleep on early hours of Sunday morning without touching me remarkable he really is talented curing insomnia so easily.

@viewer3511 Rigondeaux beat Rico Ramos, which is as impressive a win as any that Donaire has had. Plus, Rigondeaux has had over 400 fights in the Cuban amateur system which is the best in the world. The next time that you see a Cuban fighter that cannot fight will be the first time.

I use to be a fan of donaire. but he making excuses. he is scard he gonna lost to Rigo. Him and gamboa will never fight . gamboa fights at 135 now . he knows that. thats why he saying he would fight him . another lie.. he needs to just say he is scard of Rigondeaux

blahhh what is exiciting for me is to see the best fight each other .....gamboa 100 times better than rigondeaux lol ...maybe more exciting sure but better?
