I made the stuffing for our holiday turkeys with my grandmother, side by side. The process began 3 days in advance turning the torn bread pieces over and over in a giant roasting pan to dry it out. To this day, I know how much butter to work into the stuffing by the feel of it. She would squeeze a bit of it in her hand and show me how well it should hold together, not too dry, not too wet. You can't learn that in a cookbook. ❤️ Can't wait to try this recipe.
I love nana piano. Reminds of my grandma. They never measured just the hands. She us so sweet. It makes me want to cry. My grandparents have passed along time ago. Was raised with them. No measurement and their food it's the bestest!!! My grandma makes flour tortillas, no flour measurement, no baking powder, shortening, water and salt measurements and her tortillas EVERY TIME ARE THE EXACT SAME DELICIOUS!!!
