Ex mechanic, yes older cars CAN have their fuel tanks there, its rare, it atleast has some carpet over the top but that location is bloody rare af. Does make me want to play this game but the price.....yeah idk outta my budget since im now disabled but also damn they want alot for an early access niche game, Edit for the one bolt holding the tank in, not so much but it does exist atleast for the bracket, so how it works is one side grips against the body panel (in this case) the bolt is the other point. It usually has 3 hoses, filler, return and fuel line to engine, and sometimes wires depending on age and where the pump is (if it even has one). From what I have seen at 14 mins its reasonably accurate.

The Lads in the game are based off the Russian cold war era Ladas. Safety wasn't much of a concern for them. Yes I go to the junk yard and buy parts in good shape and store them in the storage barn, one barn slot per vehicle type, I don't work on Lads or Nivs to sell anymore, not enough profit in them, so, one barn bay for each, Chad, Bart, Jesse and Wolf full of parts and sometimes a car or two to fix up for sale. Some tips, don't be afraid to use mods, there are some wonderful mods out there, like a mod that tells you how worn a part is when you look at it (works for most, not all parts), there are spotlights, a mig welder, and many more useful mods on nexus. Go to the shop beside the car dealership (the one you saw the wheels in) and buy the sandblaster and some sand for it, buy an extra grinder so you have one that you use for cutting and one with the yellow (rust removing) disk on it and keep a few boxes of cutting disks, welding rods and body filler on hand otherwise you'll be running to the shop constantly, buy an extra floor jack or two to keep a car stable while jacked up. Yes, you can demolish your current building, there is a button in the office area and build a whole new building, though you can build anywhere you want on the map, I chose to just demolish my original building and build a new on on the same spot.

Exactly. What happened to the Ford Pinto. The gas tank is right in the rear of the vehicle. If you get into any collision, it would have a high likely chance of exploding.

best way to make money is to buy used car, derust and repaint and the value rocket, no need to repair anything else, just quick flip, you will break even doing any mechanic repair on them but will make ton of money on rust and paint repair

you can change number of cars that load in, inthe settings.... dont go crazy though....my laptop has a 3070ti and it can handle 8 cars with slight lag as i walk into junkyard
