Hope this guide is adequate for you guys getting into bossing. Please share this video with your newbier friends. It may be great help to them. Boss Ladder Preview Updated to Include TOA Normal: imgur.com/WG9STqA Ironman: imgur.com/kaIh8ea Edit: so there were some things I forgot to add on the bossing ladder preview, so in the description i have a more updated version for both modes. But in the future I will be working on a more indepth bossing ladder with different route choices etc, but knowing that this video took so long to make - i cant promise a proper ladder video soon because i want to keep the effort the same.
Fantastic guide, you’ve clearly put a lot of effort into this. I’m sure many newer players and some existing ones in the mid game will find this very helpful. 👌
One note for the chaos gauntlets..you'll need 59 (unboosted) magic to complete family crest. Not to say it isn't a helpful item, just not as useful as possible
hahaha the voice recording issue and "bruh" caught me off guard 07:50 PS: As a UIM there were some really good bits of info in this vid that i didn't know about despite playing the game for 2 years, thank you
Just went for a walk and had this on. Was quite a good listen and when I looked the visuals were also on point. I’m at the high end of my account but have less then like 10kc of each boss other then Cerberus whom I adore. Looking forward to the next video when it comes out :)
my main is getting close to max combat but i watched anyways while afking :) really good information for a new player! great video. (also for magic idk why no one says anything about
Early iron in regards to money, after graceful around 60 to 65 agility, u can do agility pyramid to 75/80 for a quick 5m, if u got rouges black jack to 85 for some fast cash, and the biggest tip is do ur hard varrock diary for daily bstaffs. Great passive craft xp. Once every 2 weeks takes me 5hrs to charge, craft, n alc 2 weeks worth of daily bstaffs. Not only pays for weekly kingdom but grows cash stack passivly. Along side slayer.
Honestly great guide played for years before and came back when I found out it went mobile just kinda been going aimlessly threw just grinding levels for honestly way to long lol good to have a great refresher like this great vid!
The very little time overall spent making cballs has been worth it as an iron. Saves me time in slayer tasks and sanity for some tasks. And personally pre 95 slayer i dont see the point in skips. Block lyfe. Oh and a huge tip for blocks. Yes steels, but iron drags are eazy asf with slayer dart using slayer staff E
You would save more time just doing more tasks instead of making cannon balls but I've made a lot when I just wanted heavy afk. It's like banking a bit of slayer exp when you can't afford the attention to slay and helps make some tasks more afk later. Sanity saving is always good but overall not a time save if you just slay instead. Of course anyone can slay as they want, but ideally you would block the most common bad tasks like greater demons and skip rarer ones like metal dragons so you can get to lvl 95 faster. That will save you more time overall for doing Alchemical Hydra. I love blasting dragons too though, not always caring if it's worth it. it's just good clean fun lol
I'm very suprised I was never told about your videos. All I do is grind skills in Runescape really, aaand kinda get lost at how to even be ready to do most anything else (I'm... lazy... I guess), thank you!
Thank you! I was so stoked for this. I have a fresh account I made waiting for something specific to do with besides my main and Ironman accounts, definitely going to be diving into this in the near future hopefully and plan to base the account off of this.
What i ended up doing to get my range to 45ish pretty quick (45 minutes or less) was just bought a cannon and like 3k cannon balls and went to rock crabs.
For early-mid ironman moneymaking, look into the pyramid agility course in the desert. Unlocks at low agility and can provide insane amounts of gp for those pricey armour and weapon upgrades. Somewhere from 50-100k gp an hour depending on agility level.
Didn't need this guide but decided to watch it anyways as "you never know, might learn something new". However, this guide isn't bad, but it is way too long and wordy at times. There's nothing wrong with explaining in good detail, but it felt a little like you were rambling and jumping from topic to topic as you went (Prime example of this was the slayer segment, we didn't need a quick slayer point tutorial in a bossing setup guide) Other than that main issue it was a good guide with well laid out information. I hope this comes across as constructive criticism and not flaming or rudeness, I feel like this style of guide has a lot of potential if you keep working at it.
thanks for your feedback but ive put in everything i feel its important for getting a NOOB on how to get pvm ready. it sounds like you're only considering it from your own point of view which maybe why you don't think some segments are needed. anyways ive taken all the comments into account and there doesnt seem to be much complaint for a long video except for u and 1 other guy so.
@@RiceCup That's a fair and valid point that I didn't quite consider myself. With that mindset and a better understanding of what the guide is actually about (getting the account ready for bossing with stats and money, not so much about the bosses themselves) most of what I said in the original comment is now invalidated. Only thing I would still say needs work though is the rambling feel to it but that's the only fault it has, great beginners guide otherwise. I especially liked the ladder diagram towards the end and how you described progression for ironmen. (was a LITTLE odd how demonics weren't in the ladder when lizard shamans were, especially when you mentioned demonics multiple times throughout the video but I concede that that's not the biggest deal hehe)
@@TheCheezwiz1 the ladder had somethings i 4got to put in like demonic, there is supposed to be a 2nd video where i properly talk bout pvm itself but i dont have time or energy to work on this next project yet, so i decided to give a preview here so there's something for people who has finished the prebossing to get an idea of how to go about the pvm routes.
Man I like this guide. The end shows how little there actually is to do in this game sadly but how many hours can be wasted grinding for gear to progress lol. I hope Jagex gets their shit together after clans/group iron and actually start making new bosses/content. 3 years since the last actual tough pvm encounter is too long.
I’m halfway through the video so I haven’t got to the ending. But you are saying how little there is to do as far as bossing? Because there is plenty to do in the game as a whole.
If there's something good to be said about rs3, (well of course there is, it's just the flaws that weigh it down) it's that there's less grinding to start more exciting things. or so I've heard. Quicker xp is not for osrs but osrs could definitely do with some more compelling low and mid level combat options.
well its more so the cannonballs take alot away from the profit so newcomers may not be able to afford this cut in profit. so i dont fully recommend it unless you alredy very well managed with funds.
Liked and subscribed. Whats the best advice for a osrs noob with a biiig gambling history? Im restarting from 400k now to put in work on making a bank and getting levels because else i usually Just blow it all on the flower games. I reckon if i grind for making the mills i will appreciate it much more
Thank you for the advice man, i just feel like i havent experienced the game completely but on second tought like whats the fucking thrill of getting a acb or some rare drop if its only worth mills while on ironman its a weapon upgrade and such a big boost so yea im going to give it a try. Much love brother
ill make a part 3 eventually where it covers gear progression and the philosophy behind it in the future with updated items. don't think a remake of this is needed as the game is still mostly the same at the pre bossing stage
yeah i get it , they just added a new boss tho and its really good for lvl 70 combat players , hyped me up , thanks for your video and your time @@RiceCup
I feel like there were much better beginner money makers available that you could've mentioned instead, Mort Myre fungi is obviously decent at a low level but the rest are pretty subpar compared to other things that are available with similar requirements
like? also the key is things that are consistent and not fads that may not last till next year. but im aware that there a ton of other methods, just not the focus of the guide as there other stuff i think its more important.
Yeah fair enough, honestly I'd probably just suggest people check wiki or YT so they get into the habit of figuring out what's good at any given time but y'know mud runes, lms, making unfinished potions etc. Even as I'm approaching the later stages of my account I still do lms sometimes just because it's such an enjoyable money maker imo
Everytime I hear someone pronounce scimitar as skimitar it tears me up inside like nails on a chalkboard. It's been around for more than a thousand years which I construe as more than enough time for people to learn the word. Fuck it kills me
I'd just like to point out the only flaw in the video and that is when you say @2:45 you gain ancient magics through completion of RFD, you do not need to do desert treasure to complete RFD.
So my account is solidly in the late mid game progression wise where the next upgrades are all 20+ mil investments. When exactly should I be looking to dump the 50 mil it'll take to get my Construction to 83?
remember i am not ranking based solely on difficulty. it is a combination 3 factors. the reason why gws is earlier is due to the fact that cerb and hydra has far higher accessibility requirement of 90 plus slayer and having to be on task. Godwars doesnt have those requirements at all.
I get what you're saying, I'm a returning player who was mostly f2p now members, and a lot of OSRS guides/videos bombard you with information, and it's a bit overwhelming at times. I just try to focus on 1 goal at a time. If I don't have the required quests or skill levels, I work towards it and then move on to the next goal. These videos give a good overview of what is yet to come 😁
