For the guardsman this is considered a literal miracle. Space marines are considered angels. For one to save a single regular man is something like a legend.
By the way the gun that had shot the red lasers was called a lasgun it's standard issue for all Guardsmen now a Bolter shoots an actual projectile and only Space Marines have them and if a human has one it's only a bolt pistol which usually commissars carry around
The Space Marine seen in this video belongs to the Angels of Vengeance, who come from the Dark Angels. Basically after the Horus Heresy the Primarch Roboute Guilliman decreed that all remaining loyal legions split their forces up into independent 1000-man groups called chapters instead of staying as the full tens of thousands in the legions. This is, by Guilliman's logic, so that a single Space Marine force will never have the same numbers and power as Horus did, and prevent another disaster like the Horus Heresy. The way these new chapters (called successor chapters cause they are successors of their original legion) work is that someone will be chosen from the original legion/chapter and tasked with making his own chapter for any number of reasons like guarding a specific part of space that the original chapter doesn't have the resources to, or creating a force to hunt down a specific faction. Whatever the case may be, these new chapters will create their own colors for their armor and inherit a culture dependent on either the founder of the chapter (called a chapter master) and his ideals, or the culture of the world they chose as their homeworld and base of operations, plus the culture of their original chapter although this is not the case all the time. For example, the Emperor's Spears chapter comes from the Ultramarines, but instead of being uniform in organization and tactics by following a strict set of guidelines, the Spears maintain the tribal culture seen in the people of their homeworld, Nemeton. So you will see Space Marines belonging to the Spears engage in rituals, sport tribal tattoos and markings on their faces and armor, and fight wars differently than their Ultramarine founders.

He is a man, an imperial guardsmen drawn from some forgotten corner of the Imperium to fight for his species and for the safety of the people he loves. He is a factory worker, a farmer, a storekeeper, a father, a brother, a son, a mere man. And against creatures like you, teeming and numberless, powered by the very will of thirsting gods......... He holds the line. He has held the line for ten thousand Years. So whats your excuse, monster?
Nice video as always guys! Remember in 40K space marines can come in in a lot of diferent colors and markings, every chapter’s culture is as rich an varied as the worlds they come from. So there’s no shame in not knowing which chapter it is!
The power fist is a slow and cumbersome but devastating weapon, if the wielder is willing to endure the foe's attacks in order to deliver a punch. If you think normal power armour is huge, wait until you see a terminator of the 1st company....
The space marine that was with the guardsman was a dark angel, the honored first legion, the sons of the lion. REPENT FOR TOMORROW YOU DIE (that's their warcry). And the Tyranids that the guardsman was shooting at was a Carnifex. And the weapons that the dark angel was using was a power fist and a bolt pistol.
@@GMineo it's ok i sometimes mistaken the salamanders (cuz they to wear green armor) as the dark angels ( fun fact: before the Horus heresy began, the dark angels wear black armor. But after the Horus heresy, the switch it to dark green, just to keep the existence of the dark angels that have fallen to chaos, and are now know as the fallen) when I was still new to Warhammer.

also that wasnt a carnifex as that is a massive bio-tank that would have dwarfed even the space marine - most likely a hormagaunt due the large scythe like claws we get a few quick shots of and the fact it leaped as it tried to attack - both are seen/abilities the unit has in the tabletop
Amazon was going to make a live action TV series with the director from "The Man in the High Castle." But nothing has be heard from 3 years ago. Very sad. T_T
9 feet (2,7 meters) tall? That would be a primarch like Roboute Guilliman, of the Ultramarines. "Standard" space marines would be more, say, between 7 and 8 feet tall, if I'm not mistaken.
The early development of a live action TV series based on the _Eisenhorn_ novels by Dan Abnett was announced a couple of years ago, with Frank Spotnitz (who was showrunner on Man in the High Castle) producing. There's been little news about it since the initial announcement, but these kinds of productions can take a long time to develop. The novels follow the investigations of an Imperial Inquisitor, Gregor Eisenhorn, and his group of agents and confidantes, as he tracks down dangerous heretics and sorcerers.
