though from Seattle, I was fortunate to live in BKLYN in the late 90s and travel all around the NE til the late 2000s. I always admired how the Eastcoast cities have their own individual music genres; B-More, GoGo, Juke, Jersey Club, Detroit Hustle, NY Underground (and now Litefeet)..... Seattle is too self-conscious to step outside the box, so I'm thankful GoGo is still alive and thrivin.
