lovely.... well aware 'this is a Yamaha advert'.... Though one thing I don't understand... I've owned and built a number of boats, one of the must have's at helm is an adjustable wheel positioning..... Something so simple, yet so many 'top spec' builders don't offer it.... Insist on it! Thank me later.

Imagine a world where manufactures that spend millions in development ,testing and promoting their outboards ,actually used the sounds of the incredible engines they make ,not drowned out by annoying music distracting from the actual product.

they are not advertising the sound of the engine . they are advertising the performance and capabilities of the engine and its systems on that particular hull

I mean YES - it IS an UNREAL boat, but this is at least HALF A MILLION DOLLARS OR MORE. $120,000 PLUS just for the motors. So without looking up everything- probably $600,000 AUD.... A effing Bargain!

All that money and it still looks like a old used boat.... 👎 Love the cats but come on get with the time's modernise it with a single one piece front window. Looks old

Looks old because it is old. Noosa cat hasn't put much into anything you would deem innovative for decades. The owner is more interested in racing cars, not much of a boating persona. They have had endless government / commercial contracts over the years, rested on their laurels and this is the outcome.

yeah true but they build boats to go anywhere in any seas and this design is the strongest there is, can you imagine a big wave breaking over the bow onto a single window in huge seas it'll probably cave in, why do you think big jumbo jets still use this type of window configuration.

Definitely not the strongest. A heavy built aluminium Cat will still take that cake. Windows yes, they are armour plate, strong and functional, doesn't stop them innovating elsewhere.@@gypana

@@bobbuilder5362 There's only so much you can do with a cat design and even then most people will still think they're ugly, remember these cats were built for commercial use not bling, when you're out wide chasing tuna and caught in a big storm coming back in the last thing you're thinking about is bling.

Your not educating me. I owned an original Bruce Harris Cat in the late 80's before most of these kids were even born. Grew up a stones throw from where they were built Have also lived in Noosa and know the Noosa cats well, they are ok, not great. All the commercial guys in Noosa use 'other' brands.@@gypana
