Who would have thought that I would be in a movie scene with The Superstar, NORA AUNOR and actor/singer, Mr. TIRSO CRUZ III, my favorite love team of all time? Even though the movie was not released, I will forever cherish the thought that once upon a time I was in a movie scene with the greatest love team Philippine Cinema has ever produced!
Backstory: Growing up in Jolo, Sulu, Guy & Pip played a huge part of my childhood. Almost every night, my brothers and sister watched Chinese, Japanese and Filipino movies with our mother at the only movie house in Jolo. My dreams were filled with movie scenes of Guy & Pip singing “Maria Leonora Teresa”, “Together Again”, etc. My older sister and I were always bickering over which love team between Guy & Pip and Vi & Bot was more popular. As a self confessed Noranian, Guy & Pip was the most popular love team in the history of Philippine Cinema!
