WTF is going on? First the Persuasions and now Nora Jones? Everybody seems to be honoring Hunter and Garcia. And they deserve it. But still it is just a little surprising to think that after all those years when we thought we were the outcasts in the music world. We really had a great deal of support from every corner of the globe. Man, I like it. Unreal. God bless you family. It wasn't just the Dead and their music that made those shows so special, miraculous even. It was you. Peace.
@@scottoblander9419 For the most part... I mean, on Hunter's solo version on Rum Runners, it doesn't have that minor chord in the chorus... I think that chord is Garcia's contribution. But yeah, almost completely Hunter/Hunter 🙂
this is awesome. she's an accomplished jazz musician, and the dead (especially in 73) was a jazz band that played rock. this almost has more of a country sound. wonder if she has a piano rendition.
Norah Jones was already awesome...then I found out she was Ravi Shankar's daughter...and now I'm finding out she's a Deadhead....100000 more cool points
I didn’t like one of her first songs, to me it sounded like a box of abused puppies, but I’ve liked everything I’ve heard from her since. This is awesome.

I love this song, but I like Norah better on piano. And I'm sure Deadheads are thin on the ground in Argentina, the people applauding her reference probably didn't understand English, but Norah heard what she wanted to hear and played what she wanted to play, to her credit.
